Key Accountabilities

Alumni Management

· Accurately maintain the alumni records.

· Ownership of the annual alumni plan.

· Be the first point of contact for membership enquiries and answer all queries in a responsive and professional manner.

· Actively engage with alumni membership.

· Produce and maintain collateral, communication, newsletters and portal pages.

· Proactively seek alumni success stories and newsworthy articles for publication.

· Seek alumni for talks, presentations, mentoring and workshops.

· Plan and manage alumni events.

· Engage stakeholders and partners for alumni portal job postings.

· Conduct campus tours for alumni and Friends of GESS.

· Track and analyse engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of activities.

Partnership Management

· Assist the head of external relations with partner management and administrative tasks.

· Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with existing partners.

· Monitor partners and feedback on any potential problems or risks.

· Contribute to the development of promotional activities for partnership initiatives.

· Engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership.

· Report on partner and BeyondClassroom activities.

· Assist with events.

Reporting and other coordination tasks

· Produce a monthly alumni report.

· Generate ad hoc reports for assigned alumni and partnership portfolios.

Other tasks/ad hoc projects

· Supervision of video and photography events related to alumni or other assigned projects.

· Ad hoc publications and research.

· Tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Job Title: Account Executive

Salary: $3500-$4500

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage full set of accounts, including invoicing, receipt updates, vendor invoice processing, payment arrangements, journal entries, inter-company charges, bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, fixed assets registers, and general ledger maintenance

• Manage month-end closing process and ensure all month-end journals, AP, and AR sections are closed promptly

• Preparation of analytical reports to the management team

• Prepare and Review all Balance Sheet Schedule to its control accounts including bank reconciliations

• Prepare Accounts Payable & periodic reconciliation of vendors' statement of accounts

• Prepare Payroll and IR8A submissions including CPF contribution

• Assist in year-end audit & preparing audit schedules including liaising with external/internal auditors and tax agents as required

• Handle and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, audits, and tax filings (e.g., GST)

• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef with creation and preparation of all products.
• Ensure production and kitchen is kept at the highest hygiene and food safety standards and products are of the highest quality.
• Be responsible for the quality of products displayed are as per company’s and Head Chef’s standard.
• Check that quantity and quality of items ordered are received and stored in proper condition.
• Work closely with Head Chef and colleagues to achieve highest possible satisfaction of products and customer satisfaction.
• Be responsible for the proper usage of food and minimise food waste.
• Innovate and create new products.
• Ensure supplies, equipment purchases, and inventory are maintained to Company's standards at all times.
• Training and supervising kitchen team while controlling food costs and coordinate the food service operation.

Requirements

• At least 3 years relevant supervisory experience in pastry production. Experience with high-end pastry products is a must.

• Must be able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess excellent technical pastry and baking skills.
