THKMC was incorporated on 13 October 2011 as a charity to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large, and achieved an Institute of Public Character (IPC) status on 18 November 2011. THKMC is the charitable arm of Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society, which lives by the mission To Serve Mankind to help anyone who needs help regardless of their race, religion, colour, language, creed and culture. THKMC today serves more than 70,000 beneficiaries through more than 70 programmes across five Services, which include Disability, Early Intervention for Children, Family, Seniors' Community, and Therapy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Casework and Counselling

• Engage client and significant others (e.g. family, caregivers, etc.) in a therapeutic manner to understand their needs
• Manage and overcome reluctance and resistance to change
• Implement and follow up on care/ case plans and interventions to determine the suitability of care/ case plans in addressing client's needs and modify them where necessary
• Draft social reports for complex cases to be reviewed by supervisor
• Conceptualise and identify appropriate approaches to develop care/ case plan for
• client
• Help clients to develop and choose strategies and formulate viable plans
• Represent case in case conference

Group Work

• Target and reach out to individuals and/ or targeted groups who may benefit from group work conducted by organisations/ agencies
• Plan, implement, monitor, evaluate and modify therapeutic group work to address issues of target groups
• Facilitate high risk therapeutic group work under supervision

Community Work

• Conduct environmental scans and assess community needs
• Design, develop and implement community-specific development programmes (e.g. aging community in a specific neighbourhood)
• Participate in community development initiatives and provide recommendations for consideration

Professional Development & Education

• Engage in learning opportunities (e.g. participate in community of practice meetings to develop skills and capabilities)
• Attend professional development courses to acquire professional knowledge and skills
• Supervise interns and/ or students on placement
• Guide fresh/ junior social workers

Research

• Participate and support research
• Engage in multi-disciplinary team research projects Programme Development & Implementation
• Participate/ implement programmes (e.g. strengthening activities appropriate to clients' profile)
• Review and refine programmes to target client groups or other stakeholders/ partners/ agencies
• Identify service gaps in response to client needs and make recommendations to improve service provision of programmes

• Degree in Social Work/ Post Graduate in Social Work

• At least six years' experience working in the social service sector, (Family Service Centre) preferably with clients with disability, neurocognitive and/or mental health issues
• At least two years' supervisory experience in the social service sector
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team; and a high level of integrity

Job Summary

The HR Operations Support Specialist is responsible for providing HR consulting to the business. He/She liaises with line managers to understand critical requirements project future skills demand and collaborates with hiring managers to prioritize requirements. He/She supports the business leaders to assimilatie new hires into the organisation effectively. He/She guides learning managers to focus on learning programmes to bridge staff capability gaps and build new skills. He/She supports the business in the identification and management of high-potential talent, and the implementation of succession plans. He/She advises on non-monetary benefits options to compensation manager to align it with workforce needs. He/She manages employee issues and supports line managers in exit and retirement processes.
As the main point of contact between HR and the business, he/she is an excellent communicator who aligns interests among various stakeholders to promote a cooperative and collaborative work environment. He/She adopts a service excellence mindset and is passionate about addressing organisational and employees' needs and issues.

Job Responsibilities

Plan HR and workforce strategy and organisation development

• Assist to develop plan to deploy organisation's workforce to maximise productivity in pursuit of organisational vision, mission, strategy and plans in consultation with stakeholders
• Collaborate with line managers to project future skills demand and supply
• Advise line managers on resource planning options
• Facilitate the redesign of the organisation structure to deliver its vision, mission, strategy and plans in an effective and efficient manner
• Liaise with employees to evaluate effectiveness of organisation development and change interventions
• Support senior management to review organisation development and change interventions

Attract talent
• Recommend sourcing channels to source the right candidates in line with business needs
• Prioritize critical open positions to be filled in consultation with line managers
• Guide hiring managers in selection of candidates with right competencies, experience and culture fit through effective screening and assessment processes
• Advise hiring managers on the principles of fair and unbiased employment selection practices
• Provide advice to business leaders and managers to position the organisation as an employer of choice to secure candidates
• Secure involvement of business leaders in the onboarding processes to assimilate new hires effectively
• Guide onboarding managers to enhance effectiveness of orientation, induction and assimilation programmes

Develop talent
• Define learning and development needs based on business and staff capability needs
• Guide employees to refer to career development policy, framework and programmes for career progression in the organisation
• Guide line managers in their understanding and usage of performance management policy, framework and processes
• Guide line managers to cascade key performance indicators and performance goals to employees aligned to business requirements
• Support talent review sessions with line managers to identify and manage high-performing individuals for mission-critical roles within the organisation
• Guide senior management to implement succession plans to identify and groom individuals to take over leadership roles within the organisation

Engage talent
• Guide line managers in usage of compensation strategies and programmes to attract, motivate and retain workforce
• Review needs of the workforce to recommend non-monetary benefits options to the Compensation and Benefits manager
• Provide support to senior management in rolling-out employee engagement activities to motivate employees to deliver superior performance in fulfilling organisational requirements
• Manage labour relations to achieve work harmony and progress towards organisational goals

Job Requirements

- Diploma or Degree in HR

- At least 5 years of HR experience

- Able to commute to work daily

- Work location at Loyang Crescent

- Proficiency in basic MS Office Applications / Microsoft Power Platform Applications

- Candidates with Aviation industry exeprience is a plus.

The Store Assistant is in charge of updating stock levels in the inventory system. He/She knows the importance of inventory control. He/She keeps enough stock levels to avoid overstocking. He/She also avoids stocking old items. He/She is familiar with the store layout. He/She replaces stock to meet company's standards based on the company's guidelines. This is done to avoid wastage. He/She makes sure handling and storage meet standards. The Store Assistant makes sure that all areas of the stores are clean and tidy at all times.

• Receiving and processing of incoming goods and materials
• Loading and unloading, label, packing and checking of incoming & outgoing goods
• Maintain inventory to ensure stock integrity
• Assist in stock count of physical inventory
• Practice good housekeeping and clean work environment by ensuring all goods are stored neatly
• Perform 5S and ad- hoc duties as requested

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Degree, or equivalent, with experience in managing a range of design disciplines and design projects of varying scales.
• Skilled communicator who is able to communicate information effectively to a variety of individuals.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Auto-cad, Sketch Up, 3DMax or equivalent.
• Independent, positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.

Requirements

• Recognized Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering/Computer Science or a relevant discipline

• At least 5 years’ experience in embedded software development and support with good working knowledge in object-oriented software development using C/C++/Java in Windows, QNX, Unix or Linux platform

• Experience in software development involving web application development in Java, using Spring framework and interfacing with database using JDBC and SQL

• Object-oriented software design and UML modeling

• Good knowledge in Windows Server and proficient scripting skill in PowerShell is highly desirable

• Experience in Incident Management and ITIL process

• Conduct trend analysis and provide appropriate support and input to product teams

• Aggressively monitor and respond to incidents generated by stakeholders

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Cloud Certifications & Experience: Certifications from major cloud providers (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) and/or demonstrated expertise in AWS Cloud services, including EC2, is highly desirable

• DevOps Integration: Familiarity with DevOps practices such as CI/CD, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native pipelines

• Cloud Governance: Understanding of cloud policies and governance, cost management tools, and usage monitoring
