The Ramakrishna Mission Boys' Home is a residential Home for boys between the ages of 5 and 18. The Home is run by the Ramakrishna Mission within its premises. The residents go to local schools and return to the Hoe. The Home takes care of their needs and works towards reintegeration with the family.

Tasks & responsibilities:

1) Form secure attachments/bonds with the residents.

2) Prvide guidance for positive behaviour.

3) Inculcate good habits and values amongs the residents.

4) Meet the needs of residents and monitor their progress.

5) Work with a team of Care Staff within the Home to provide a safe and nurturing enviornment for the residents to develop.

6) Must seek to respond in a calm manner when rsidents are exhiniting difficult behaviour.

7) Provide updates on residents' daily school going needs and advise the team and stake holders.

As we are a residential home. care staff are expected to work shifts and some weekends and public holidays.

Persons with qualifications beyond diploma and keen to serve children and youth are also invited to apply.

Job Description

• Procurement and purchasing of building system and equipment
• Support Property Management on paperwork and monthly reports
• Support in all tender exercises
• Source of Service Providers for approved vendors list
• Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in Yardi system
• Comply with government procurement procedures for calling tenders/ quotations and recommending awards of contracts to the tender board
• Coordinate regular management reports on the progress of these projects
• Any other work as assigned
