• To conduct trades- buy and sell petroleum products on behalf of company’s system. To Negotiate and execute both short- and long- term contracts.
• To build and maintain good working relationships with oil trading companies and refiners and explore opportunities to expand business.
• Oversees cargo operations, pre-empt operational problems and together with other members in the trading team help to resolve them.
• At times, help to handle full cargo operations including vessel screening; making of and countering of contractual terms; preparing documentary instructions; voyage/discharging order; calculating and negotiating demurrages; preparing pricing and invoices; monitor of payments and others.
