Key Accountabilities
- Analyze and map terminal processes to identify inefficiencies and document workflows.
- Develop the best fit process documentation and optimization. You will lead process standardization efforts across the terminals and streamlined operations.
- Identify and implement solutions for performance improvement and efficiency gains. Monitor processes continuously for improvement opportunities.
- Assist in implementing new Terminal Operating System (TOS) and/or upgrades and system changes for smooth integration.
- Provide user support, training, and troubleshooting for standardized processes.
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to address system issues and optimize performance.
- Act as the TOS subject matter expert, manage change requests to ensuring the system meets operational needs. Troubleshoot system issues and ensure optimal configuration to support operations.
- Serve as the main liaison between operations, IT, and vendors to align system functionality with business needs. Ensure successful system integration with minimal operational disruption.
- Communicate system performance and improvements to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating process changes and aligning them with business goals.
Qualifications, Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems, or related fields. Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma are preferred.
- TOS training or experience with port/logistics management systems is a plus.
- 5 years’ relevant experience in port operations, terminal systems, logistics, or supply chain.
- Advanced knowledge of TOS configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Proficient in data analysis tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau.
- Experience in project management for system and process improvements.
- Skilled at translating technical info to non-technical teams.
- Customer-focused approach with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- High attention to detail in troubleshooting and process optimization
