Duties and Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day financial matters, month-end and year-end accounts closing (such as assessing the adequacy of accruals/provisions), and preparation of the monthly and year-end audit schedules and financial reporting packages
• Liaise with various departments in the collection of information and documents
• Process internal charge and reclassification requests
• Process miscellaneous receipts and follow up on unaccounted sums
• Identify and perform clearing for offsetting transactions for balance sheet
  accounts
• Prepare bank reconciliation and resolve reconciling items
• Investigate and resolve user’s queries
• Prepare GST and other statistical submissions
• Assist on corporate tax, internal and external audit matters
• Work with Grants and Intercompany GL teams to resolve issues
• Participate in process improvement projects
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned by supervisor

Reporting to the Assistant/ Manager under the Business Office department, you will ensure timely and accurate inpatient billing to patient accounts and submission of claims to third party payers (e.g. CPF Board, Private Medical Insurers, etc), in accordance with established policies, procedures and internal controls. You will provide courteous and professional customer service to enquiries, feedback and explanation on hospital policies and Medisave regulations.

You will ensure the purchase of services from co-located hospitals and vendors are captured in patient bills and payments are made to vendors promptly. You will update and maintain the Master Records in SAP-ISH, and perform bank reconciliation on bill collections received.

You will prepare billing related reports for submission to MOH and SingHealth Community Hospitals (SCH) management. You will perform testing for system enhancements and provide inputs for process improvements. You may also be involved in other duties and projects, as and when assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration (major in Accountancy or Finance preferred) or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in the Billing function within the Finance department.
• Relevant experience in the healthcare industry and/ or with SAP knowledge will be advantageous.
• Team player, resourceful, self-motivated and able to work independently
• Genuine interest in customer service
• Good interpersonal and effective communication skills
• Entry level degree holders are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

1. Conduct e-Learning Needs Analysis to identify clientele e-Learning requirements and learning objective.
2. Review Clientele existing Training / Courses and recommended appropriate strategies to convert to blended or e-learning format.
3. Review and develop curriculum design to incorporate technology and relevant learning pedagogies.
4. Supervise the design and development of e-learning content that consist of an assortment of media types.
5. Develop, conceptualise and edit storyboard that will be translated into finished interactive content.
6. Develop courseware testing and evaluate courseware based on the approved storyboard

Requirements

1. Degree in any discipline
2. Possess a Advance Certificate In Training and Assessment
3. At least 1 - 2 years working experience in Curriculum Design, Instructional Design, Content Development and Training practices.
4. Candidate should have good interpersonal communication and presentation skills and is a team player.
