Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Logistics/Warehousing
• Position Title: Account Payable
• Working Location: Potong Pasir
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30 am – 6 pm
• Salary Package: Up to $3,500 + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor outsourced vendors to ensure timely reconciliation of vendors’ statements of accounts with our records.
• Maintain well-organized vendor files, including invoices and supporting documents.
• Prepare GST filings and support the Head of Finance in month-end closing and reporting.
• Prepare monthly journal entries, including accruals and prepayments.
• Process daily accounting tasks, such as payments and supplier invoice data entry.
• Reconcile accounts promptly to maintain accuracy.
• Travel to our Batam Warehouse weekly or as needed.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

1. Operational Duties:

• Steer and operate vessels for marine construction projects, including towing, shifting, and anchor handling.
• Oversee the operation of grab dredgers during dredging and related activities.
• Ensure the safe and efficient movement of vessels, including adherence to navigational protocols and safety regulations.

2. Maintenance & Reporting:

• Monitor and maintain the operational readiness of vessels and dredging equipment.
• Conduct routine checks and report any technical issues or maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate records of vessel operations, fuel consumption, and maintenance logs.

3. Team Coordination:

• Lead and manage the crew during vessel operations, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Collaborate with project teams to align vessel activities with project requirements.

4. Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Prepare and submit operational and safety reports as required.

• Possess extensive culinary experience, including kitchen management and menu planning experience.
• Possess excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with other departments and communicate effectively.
• Possess innovation skills, able to develop new dishes and menus.
• Manage daily kitchen operations, including staff management, inventory control, and cost control.
• Ensure kitchen compliance with food safety standards, including hygiene and safety checks.
• Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff, improving skills and knowledge.
• Manage kitchen costs, including food costs, labour costs, and equipment maintenance costs.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality and reasonable pricing.
• Ensure kitchen equipment functions properly, including maintenance and replacement.
• Develop new dishes and menus, ensuring kitchen innovation and competitiveness.
• Ensure kitchen food quality meets company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Uphold the standards of food presentation, production and portioning
• Maintain daily mise-en-place and prepare ingredients
• Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily highlights and promotions
• Keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques
• Perform day-to-day kitchen activities efficiently
• Ensure compliance to Company Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as well as the cleanliness and sanitation
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company

• Able to perform spilt shift, work on weekends and public holidays
• Able to work independently and lead a team of kitchen staff
• Have initiative and hardworking with positive attitude to learn and contribute
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
