Job Responsibilities

• Active member of Focused Improvement component team.
• Develop and grow problem solving capability at all levels.
• Support implementation of CI projects across all dimensions SQDC.
• Help coordinate activity of component teams and focused improvement project teams to eliminate loss, according to strategic goals.
• Help generate, sustain, and deliver a multi-year Cost to Win (CTW) portfolio, support governance processes, and optimization of the site loss landscape. Help meet or exceed CTW (Cost to Win) goals through leading and /or supporting Focused Improvement team savings projects (Loss Landscape).
• Teach and coach BD Excellence concepts and systematic approach, including strategy deployment, core components, Zero Loss mindset and all related methodologies / tools.
• Lead and facilitate breakthrough Kaizen events and support other BD Excellence components in problem solving capability development.
• Support development of zero loss mindset across critical areas to optimize quality, delivery and cost while improving safety.
• Help develop and grow capability through components and component teams to establish the fundamentals of excellence in safety, quality, and reliability.
• Coach and guide project selection process to ensure focus of resources and time on priorities.
• Ensure strategic alignment through cascading Key Performance Indicators (KPIs’) top down and bottom up. Support BD Excellence deployment and governance process across all relevant components.
• Drive BD Excellence capability development through deployment of progressively advanced aspects of component methodologies. Support attainment of long-term CI objectives through cross functional teams with shared goal.
• Drive use of effective data-driven visual-management techniques, e.g., Business-Operating-System (BOS) charts to drive improvement of KPIs such as OEE, waste, labour productivity, etc. Active role in governance and action tracking of improvements, with periodic reporting of activity completion dates, expected and achieved results.

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering trade preferred.
• Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience in a plant.
• Previous experience in implementing, and strong knowledge of, Lean and Six Sigma business systems. Six sigma green or black belt certification preferred.
• Experience in Total Productive Maintenance or Industrial Engineering is an added advantage
• Demonstrated passion for safety, customer centricity and operational excellence.
• Understanding of the interaction between operational excellence and customer service.
• Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills with people at all levels.
• Track record in project or program management.
• Experience of working in a multi-site and multi-cultural environment.
• Business acumen and ability to display the linkage between projects and desired business results.
• Able to develop compelling business case for resource investment, aligned with CTW finance policies and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Model development

• Drive the development of Squarepoint Asian Base Metal (S&D) balances:
  • Keep track of S&D imbalances and explore the sources of those imbalances.
  • Connect and collaborate with Squarepoint’s metal desk in London to integrate data and findings into the desk view. A particular emphasis should be put on traditional demand drivers and energy transition demand.
  • Create models and scenarios stressing S&D variables and one-off events.
• Onboard new sources of fundamental data for the development and improvement of supply demand models, trade flow matrices and cash markets monitoring. A particular emphasis will be put on industrial and demand data for China and the rest of Asia.
• Carry systematic surveys with our physical business counterparts and integrate results within Squarepoint technical infrastructure.

Model monitoring

• Monitor skill of S&D against realized inventories.
• Monitor model inputs to ensure that model results are always to industry-leading standards.
• Monitor changing regulatory environment to include updates into models.

Analysis and trade recommendations

• Participate in industry events and field trips to follow trends and developments.
• Drive fundamental risk modeling of existing trading positions from model.
• Propose, support and follow trade deas centered around base metals:
  • Generate/update fundamental dashboards on demand or the trading team.
  • Record and track trade ideas through Squarepoint dedicated system.
• Work with the extended research team to synthesize in-house S&Ds forecasts and monitor trade ideas.
• Conduct analysis on Asia regional S&D, end-user forecast, trade flow etc

Requirements:

· Strong understanding of Copper in Asia and detailed related SnD balance. Knowledge of Aluminum, Iron Ore and/or Nickel fundamentals in Asia is a plus.

· Specific focus on demand drivers as well as smelting/refining and semi-manufacturing dynamics is a plus.

· Strong expertise in fundamental analysis framework

· Solid existing network with Chinese base metal industrials (including on site visits). Knowledge of local vendors is a plus.

· Experience in top miner, physical trader and investment fund

· Good documentation skills (able to properly document models).

· Desire to interact with traders and other analysts on a frequent basis.

· Fluent in Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

· Accomplish Backend Sales and Booking Budgets set by BU

· Manage the Sales and Booking forecast accurately and to align with BU

· Analyze and map out Customers' Tester platforms against Devices Type and EndApplication

· Provide an update on major customers' Tester platforms against Devices Type and End Application upon investigated.

· Understand customers' business direction and industry market trend via testers' install map and investment plan.

· Explore what types of future Devices customers will be focusing on for the next3 years

· Generate monthly progression reports and review with BU

· Progressively increase Backend Business (Cellcia, Prober) MS through New Devices, Penetration or Development and Legacy Replacement

· Create Strategy to counter New Devices customers in their next business expansion

· Create New Business Strategy to attract customers on 'Legacy Tool Replacement' promotion

· Conduct Monthly review meeting between BU and Region to align goals according to GT35 goal and realize business plan

· Increase New or Sustainable Business for Backend Customers by potentially raising ASP and MPR with according to GT35 goal

· Create and drive upgraded strategy and tactics to increase ASP or Profit (MPR)in the next business expansion

· Conduct Monthly review meeting between BU and Region to align GT35 goal and realize business plan

· Strengthening Operational Readiness

· Provide timely update with respects to BEOL information in terms of market situation, customers' FCST, VOC and issues via CALL reports to BU/Region

Requirements

· Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent

· A meticulous, organized and resourceful team player

· A highly motivated individual who works independently with little supervision.
