• Oversees the admin and support functions of Nursing Services
• Plan, organises and facilitates nursing training programmes and maintains staff database records
• Arranges nursing forums, meetings and other activities, including records of minutes of meeting
• Prepare refreshments, logistic requirements, course materials and required training tools
• Collate course nomination and registration for ad-hoc and external courses
• Monitors utilisation of training places for nursing training programmes and attendances
• Collates post-course evaluation results and prepares summary reports for Nurse Educators.
• Oversees the booking, cleanliness and assets of Skill Laboratory. Maintain inventory and checks equipment function.
• Collates and enters continuing Nursing Education points for nurses in SNB websites.
• Any other duties assigned by the Nursing Education Team.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma holders, preferably with a minimum of 1 year of similar experience
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Meticulous, good in follow-up and coordination skills

As a Mainframe System Engineer, you are responsible for Plan, Install, Manage, and administer Mainframe, Upgrades and Maintenance.

What you will do:

• Plan, Install, Manage, and administer Mainframe, Upgrades and Maintenance
• Manage and deliver support for z/OS, DB2, IBM TWS, IBM RACF, IBM RMM, IBM SDSF, SMP/E, IODF.
• Responsible in installing, upgrading, and administering IBM, CA and BMC products.
• Responsible in managing DFSMS suite – DSS, HSM, RMM, VTL and replication.
• Managing enterprise Mainframe Storage Systems – Disk and Virtual Tape
• Working on Mainframe recovery, disaster recovery, troubleshooting, maintaining, and configuring using Mainframe LPARs
• Develop/Maintain/Improve in-house programs and utilities in COBOL, REXX.
• Experience with MF Data Center and MF network (VTAM, TCPIP and TN3270)
• Collaborate with other infrastructure teams, e.g., Storage, security teams, open systems, network, etc., to ensure applications running in DB2, and MQ can interface with applications on other platforms, e.g., WebSphere Application Servers on Linux
• Perform performance data collection, analysis, and tuning of Mainframe Systems.
• Implement project and internal initiative responsibilities as assigned or delegated.
• Participate in incident and problem management activities related to application and Mainframe Systems
• Diagnose and resolve environment system abends and abnormal operating problems using system logs and other available logs and documents.
• Perform problem diagnostics and resolution as well as change management.
• Collaborate with other team members within the same Information Technology (IT) departments, functional users, and vendors to provide guidance and supervise project implementation.
• Provide 24*7 on-call support Mainframe Infrastructure.
• Meet or exceed customer SLA.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Diploma / Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
• More than 8 years of relevant Mainframe experience.
• Hands-on experience in z/OS, DB2, IBM TWS, IBM RACF, IBM RMM, IBM SDSF, SMP/E, IODF.
• Experience managing enterprise Mainframe Storage Systems – Disk and Virtual Tape
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

The role will help in managing the operational aspects of SBF’s membership operations and services, supporting SBF’s goals to grow our membership base and working with other divisions in SBF to deliver value to members. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in operations, be adept in systems and process optimisation and have exposure to event management.

Job Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:

• Provide oversight support for daily membership operations for Statutory and Associate Members, including areas pertaining to onboarding of members, invoicing and reminders for membership fee arrears, management of membership exemptions including audit checks and service delivery processes.
• Work with the Director, Membership Operations & Services and the team to develop and implement strategies to achieve membership growth in line with SBF’s targets.

Systems and Process Improvement:

• Participate and lead in initiatives to enhance the membership management system, to further streamline operations and improve customer service.
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve processes related to membership data management, ensuring data accuracy, security, and compliance with SBF and national data policies.
• Regularly review standard operating procedures (SOPs) for membership operations to enhance efficiency and member satisfaction.

Membership Events:

• Support the team’s efforts to plan, coordinate, and execute membership events and activities, including events such as the Annual General Meeting and other membership activities.
• Gather feedback and analyse post-event feedback to refine event offerings and improve member experiences.

Member Experience:

• Support in managing escalated member issues, addressing concerns and complaints with a focus on prompt resolution.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on programs and services that enhance value for SBF members and enhance overall engagement.
• Analyse member feedback and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and contribute to ongoing member satisfaction and loyalty.

Strategic Planning and Reporting:

• Support Director, Membership Operations & Services in developing operational plans and budgets to achieve department objectives.
• Prepare regular reports on membership performance, providing insights and recommendations based on operational data.
• Participate in strategic initiatives to advance SBF’s membership strategies, contributing to long-term organisational success.

Job Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant years of experience in membership operations or a related field, with experience in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in process improvement initiatives. Project management experience will be an asset.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of effectively managing teams and collaborating across departments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with experience in using data to drive decisions and improvements.
• Experience / exposure to IT systems including ERP systems, as well as MS Office Suite.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads.
• Self-motivated, independent and a good team player.
