Job Title: Golf Coach
Location: Friends Golf at Beras Basah
Position: Full-Time/Part-Time
We are one of the leading golf academy in Singapore. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Golf Coach to join our team. This role involves conducting golf lessons using state-of-the-art indoor golf facility, catering to a wide range of clients from young children to corporate groups. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of golf techniques, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to engage and inspire golfers of all ages and skill levels.
1. Conduct Golf Lessons:
- Provide individual and group golf lessons using indoor golf simulators.
- Tailor lessons to meet the needs and skill levels of each client, ensuring a personalized and effective learning experience.
- Utilize simulator technology to analyze and improve clients' golf swings and overall performance.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching and cultivating the growth of golf towards student.
- Ability to communicate program details with student.
2. Junior Golf Programs:
- Design and implement engaging golf programs for juniors aged 7 years and above.
- Create a fun and safe learning environment that fosters a love for golf and encourages skill development and love of golf game towards juniors.
- Monitor and track the progress of junior golfers, providing feedback and guidance to parent.
- Keep track of current trend of junior golf tournament/ golf camp across SEA region.
3. Corporate Golf Lessons:
- Conduct corporate golf lessons and team-building events using indoor golf simulators.
- Customize lessons and activities to suit the goals and preferences of corporate clients.
- Foster a positive and professional atmosphere during corporate events, promoting networking and team cohesion.
4. Event Assistance:
- Assist and work together with management team to organize and execute golf-related events, including tournaments, clinics, golf camp and other promotional activities.
- Collaborate with the events team to ensure smooth operations and a high level of client satisfaction.
- Engage with participants, providing tips, demonstrations, and ensuring an enjoyable experience.
- Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience as a golf coach or instructor, preferably with experience using golf simulators.
- Excellent communication, work ethic, customer management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients of all ages.
- Strong knowledge of golf techniques, rules, and etiquette.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching and cultivating the growth of golf towards student.
- Experienced and enjoy working with children (teaching / coaching group of children)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client schedules and events.
- Certification from a recognized golf coaching organization (Example: PGA, USGTF) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of SGA Juniors Golf Programme would be an added advantage.
