1. Counselling Services:
o Provide individual and group counselling sessions for students
o Develop and implement tailored intervention strategies for students with specific needs
o Maintain confidential records of counselling sessions and student progress
2. Preventive Measures:
o Design and conduct workshops for students on mental health awareness and social-emotional skills
o Collaborate with teachers to integrate social-emotional learning into the curriculum
o Implement early intervention programmes to address potential issues before they escalate
3. Collaboration and Networking:
o Participate in regular meetings with the Student Development Team
o Liaise with external professionals and agencies when necessary for student support
o Engage in professional development activities and share best practices with other school counsellors
4. Student Support:
o Provide crisis intervention and support for students facing acute challenges
o Offer guidance on academic and career-related concerns
o Assist in the transition process for students entering or leaving the school
5. Programme Evaluation:
o Conduct regular assessments of the counselling programme's effectiveness
o Gather feedback from students, teachers, and parents to improve services
o Prepare and submit reports on counselling activities and student outcomes
6. Time Commitment:
o Provide counselling services for 40 (8 x 5) hours per week, with specific hours to be negotiated
o Be available for occasional after-hours support in case of emergencies
Requirements:
i) A diploma in counselling or equivalent or higher;
ii) 1 year of relevant student counselling experience in Singapore
iii) Should have experience in:

Contract Period: From 02 Jan 2025 to 31 May 2025
Working Hours: Mon to Fri: 40 hours per week, excluding 1 hour for lunch break
