Responsibility:

• Coordinate the preparation, compilation, and analysis of the Annual Budget prior to its submission to the corporate office.
• Analyze financial variances and take a proactive approach by conducting meetings with operations departments to review and discuss monthly forecast performance.
• Synthesize complex data from various sources and transform it into comprehensive management reports.

• Oversee SOX compliance and address internal and external audit queries.

Requirements:

Job Description:

- Assist in preparation of group consolidation accounts for Singapore and China reporting and provide accurate insights of figures.

- Collating and analyzing the group’s monthly management reports, collecting data for the group’s audit and related detailed analysis.

- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating and reconciling and resolving discrepancies.

- Ensure accuracy and month-end and year-end closing timely completion of reports are met

- Maintaining the general ledger, tax returns, direct internal and external audit to ensure compliance.

- Participate in financial standard setting in the budgeting, forecasting, analyzing report.

- Liaise with both internal and external parties including bankers, auditors, tax agents and professional advisors on related matters

- Prepare shareholders meeting and yearly meetings

- Review the monthly financial statements of associated companies.

- Other assignments as and when required by management.

Requirements:

- Professional Bachelor Degree in Accountancy and/or with CPA/ACCA or equivalents.

- Minimum 5 years working experience as an Accountant/Senior Accountant in listed companies preferred.

- Familiarity with financial accounting statements and accounting software SAP knowledge will be an added advantage.

- Must be meticulous, accuracy, attention to detail and aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.

- Is a team player, able to work independently and aim to lead a team.

- Key skills include sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, analyzing financial data through spreadsheets, good communication skills to liaise with associated companies.
