JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team and manage the accounting and financial operations for our subsidiaries in Singapore, India, and Korea. The ideal candidate should be proficient in handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and staff claims.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections and credit control.
2. Manage the accounts payable process, including vendor management, invoice processing, and payment approvals.
3. Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and accounted for in our subsidiaries' books.
4. Review and process staff claims, ensuring that all expenses are properly authorized and documented in accordance with company policy.
5. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets for our subsidiaries in Singapore, India, and Korea.
6. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax laws, and other regulatory requirements in each country of operation.
7. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and local financial institutions, as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma, Degree in Accounting or Finance or related qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- The candidate will be required to visit our subsidiaries in India and Korea once a year for each country.
- Candidate with SAP experience will be advantageous
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Meticulous, pro‐active with positive attitude
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to meet the tight deadlines
