In this pivotal role, you’ll provide transition support to the BAU operations team. This position will ensure operational functions for private asset investments are performed on a timely and accurate basis by the Private Assets Services Team.

The Role

• Manage General Partners capital call and distribution processes
• Calculate daily cash projections, including adjustments for VCC funding
• Monitor and communicate funding needs for different portfolios to ensure timely funding obligations
• Manage end-to-end transactions for new investments
• Maintain accurate records of private asset transactions in Portfolio Management System

POSITION SUMMARY

This opportunity is with KKR’s Global Client Solutions team. They are looking to bring on a real estate product Analyst to work on covering any products / funds /platforms, etc. as they relate to real estate products across equity and credit globally. As a L/S Equity Analyst, you will join an investing team focused on:

• Building and maintaining detailed company models as directed by the PM
• Conducting compliant industry and company-specific research – performing channel checks and diligence on specific stocks and industries as directed by the team
• Attending conferences and compliance approved industry events
• Building relationships with the relevant sell side research analysts and salespeople
• Committing your daily efforts to the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, and excellence
• Ensuring the accuracy and quality of all of your recommendation materials
• Supporting fundamental research into companies, industries, and sub-sectors
• Reporting on topics such as general economic and industry-specific developments and trends
• Understanding and living Point72’s ethical decision-making approach and its compliance program
• Assisting your team in innovating and creating unique investment strategies

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-6 years experience in covering Australia stock market
• Strong domain expertise in Australia market supply chain
• Ability to get up to speed on companies and generate ideas independently
• English Speaker is strongly preferred due to coverage of Australia market companies
• Open to buy-side (Long Only, Hedge Fund, Sovereign Fund) and sell-side (Equity Research) candidates
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards

Working Days: 5 days, Monday to Friday

Working hours : 9:00am -6:00pm

Salary : $3000-3200

Job Description

• Manage the portfolio of clients assigned by developing and maintaining good client relationship.
• Monitor the time frame and work progress to ensure timely delivery of quality services to clients.
• Handle full set of accounts including reconciliation, receivables, payables, and month/year-end closing
• Preparation of financial reports and analysis
• Preparation of yearly financial statements
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with our clients’ auditors in order to facilitate the audit process
• Handle GST reporting
• Preparation of tax computations and filing of Tax returns
• Able to communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Assign to other accounting duties and ad-hoc assignments

Requirements
• Degree in Accountancy.
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Canvas, Outlook and Excel, MYOB or Xero.
