PURPOSE AND SCOPE

As a Digital Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing digital integration strategies for mergers and acquisitions across Sembcorp Group. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of digital technologies and the ability to collaborate with subject matter experts to create a comprehensive playbook for seamless M&A digital integration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Playbook Development:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts in Group HQ and Markets to understand business processes, systems, and digital landscapes.
• Lead the development of a comprehensive playbook for digital integration within the M&A framework, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
• Conduct thorough analyses of digital assets, systems, and technologies to identify integration opportunities and challenges.

2. Project Management for Digital Integration:

• Serve as the key liaison between the Group Digital Team and M&A project stakeholders.
• Create and execute project plans for digital integration in M&A activities, coordinating efforts across cross-functional teams.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders.

3. Implementation:

• Support the implementation of digital integration strategies during M&A activities.
• Ensure seamless transition and functionality of digital systems post-integration.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with subject matter experts, both internally and externally, to gather insights and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Engage with key stakeholders to understand business requirements, expectations, and challenges related to digital integration.

5. Communication:

• Develop and articulate concise messages through PowerPoint presentations to communicate integration strategies, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and external entities involved in the digital integration.

6. Team Administration:

• Undertake ad hoc team administration duties as required, ensuring the smooth operation of the Group Digital Team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or a related field.
• 1 – 3 years’ experience in business analysis, project management, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of digital technologies, systems, and integration methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. Proficiency in developing engaging and concise PowerPoint presentations.

Scope and Purpose

• Support the GRMs in assessing the economic credit risk performance of customers and inactivating the necessary corrective actions
• Support the GRMs by carrying out related administrative and credit activities and taking care ofthe tasks related to the investigation of credit lines
• Support the GRMs in achieving the profitability, commercial and risk objectives of customers,by participating in the preparation of plans and the offer to the relevant customers
• Operationally interact with the relationship structures in Italy and abroad for the relevantcustomers
• Guarantee the quality of the work performed, as well as compliance with deadlines, byintervening operationally in urgent transactions.
• Develop cross-selling opportunities
• Support the coordination with the product structures of the Division during the preparation ofstrategic and commercial plans and the origination of the transactions
• Identify market opportunities to be discussed with customers to support the origination oftransactions, facilitating the activity of GRMs and the various product structures

Required Experience

• 5 years of experience in Corporate and Investment Banking

•  University degree and/or post-graduate degree in economics/ finance.
•  Knowledge and experience in Business analysis
•  Proficiency in computer applications.
•  Good communication skills.
•  Thoroughness and attention to details.
•  Advanced English (spoken and written)

•  Understanding of credit risk analysis and support the preparation of credit papers;
•  Advanced analytical ability to perform financial statement and market analysis;
•  Exposure to and good understanding of full range of Investment banking and Structured lending products

BASIC PURPOSE:
Using discretion and judgment, researches specified industries or global regions to develop specific company and stock recommendations for the portfolios managed by MFS.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Independently conducts research in assigned area to develop specific company and stock recommendations for the portfolios managed by MFS.
• Using research sources such as company literature and financial statements, and various business publications, works independently to structure, develop and communicate investment recommendations.
• Attends conferences, travels to company facilities, and interviews corporate management at all levels.
• Travel will encompass approximately 30% of this job.
• Acts as the in-house expert on designated area of concentration.
• Performs additional duties as directed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Master of Business Administration degree, or equivalent international business experience.
• Ability to travel frequently.
• Ability to work independently, using research, analysis, and communication skills.

• 5 or more years of Equity research experience

YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Finalizes food cover report and photocopies various documentation for food and beverage control and the Finance Department
• Controls dockets used in all outlets, maintaining correct sequence used at all times, accounting for dockets and making sure cancelled dockets are recorded accordingly
• Controls all food and beverage sales by:
• Correct recording of guest checks on a timely basis
• Performs spot checks on outlet checks used
• Having all voided checks, corrections and unsettled checks approved by the Restaurant Supervisor or Manager
• Monitors the buffet controls, especially over cash settled checks to prevent reuse ensuring all revenue is recorded
• Ensure banquet controls are being adhered to
• Reconciles total outlet sales to total charges
• Ensures all rebates and miscellaneous charges are supported by documentation detailing the charges. All rebate credits must be in accordance with Finance Policy. The rebate credits, miscellaneous charges and paid outs must be summarized and sent to the Finance Manager and General Manager for review daily
• Audits daily collection of the General Cashiers Summary against the bank in slip
• Reconciles revenues on a daily basis via back up page
• Audits and reconciles advance payments and ensures payments have been applied
• Keys revenue journal and distributes to Outlet Mangers and management
• Works with General Cashier to check all float totals regularly and keeps control on registers in outlets

• Secondary school or equivalent
• Great communication skills. Must speak fluent English and local language with other additional languages preferred
• Computer literate (excel, word, office)
• Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
