Scope:

To liaise with the business team (Client Success/Business Development) to ensure the required documents (e.g., signed contracts/agreements, stixcloud reports, BI reports & etc.) are saved in the respective event folders.

• Able to commit at least 6 months.

• Processing payments, cheques, AP billings, invoices, and etc.
• Organization and coordination of corporate events and other administrative support related work.
• Must be able perform ad-hoc duties assigned.
• General accounting functions and preparing journal entries.
• Matching of tax invoices with delivery order.
• Basic knowledge in accounting.
• Meticulous, independent and responsible.
• Issuing tax invoice and record payment receivable.

• Recording day to day financial transactions and completing the posting process
• Verifying that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
• Bringing the books to the trial balance stage

[What we are looking for]

You should have relevant work experience in Accountancy or equivalent. You should be able to teach in at least 3 or more of the following areas:

- Accounting
- Costing
- Auditing
- Taxation
- Accounting Software (e.g. ABSS/MYOB, ACCPAC/SAGE 300, XERO)

Knowledge and competency in any of the following areas would be advantageous:

- Business intelligence tools (e.g. Microsoft Power BI)
- Innovative technologies (e.g. Blockchain, Fintech, Robotic Process Automation)
- Entrepreneurship

You would be expected to contribute towards industry projects and student development activities as well.

Those with good and relevant experience can look forward to Senior Lecturer or equivalent positions, with career development opportunities to leadership positions in the Colleges or Headquarters.

• Supervise the day-to-day operation of the Finance Department
• Assist in cash flow management
• Handle full set of accounts
• Review AP, AL entries
• Review and approve the AP payments and staff reimbursements
• Prepare timely monthly management reports
• Review quarterly GST filing preparation and file GST
• Prepare tax schedules for certain GL accounts
• Prepare audit schedules for certain balance sheet accounts
• Liaison with external auditor on annual audit
• Liaison with insurance agent for annual insurance
• Prepare Financial statements
• Assist in General Office Administration and Provide support to HR and Admin Department
• Payroll administration (include monthly submission of CPF, SDL, funds) , tax clearance IR21 , IR8A
• Administer staff benefits and welfare
• Hiring and Recruitment (when necessary)
• Familiar with WPOL, EPOL submission

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Related field with relevant work experience
• 3 to 4 years of working experience in related field
• Meticulous and Good Positive Attitude
• Analytical skill
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Detail-oriented and analytical
• Team-player
• Good communications skills

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare group consolidation and perform financial analytical review
• Coordinate with subsidiaries’ finance leads to ensure timely and accurate
  financial reporting pack
• Prepare monthly Group management reporting pack & presentation deck
• Ensure monthly intercompany balances are reconciled by subsidiaries finance leads
• Oversees the month-end closing of holding company and several investment subsidiaries
• Prepare Group budgeting and forecasting
• Prepare board decks, SGX announcements and Annual report
• Prepare group financial statements & notes to the accounts
• Assist in Board Meeting and AGM/EGM coordination
• Liaise with external auditors, corporate secretarial agents, sponsors, and
  share registrar
• Any other ad-hoc financial duties assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Accountancy
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, financial consolidation
  experience will be preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking
  skills
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
