Our client is a leading Japanese gas and energy company, with a trading arm in machinery for the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries. Reporting to the Finance Director, they are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payments, receipts, journal vouchers, and other documents in financial transactions
• Preparation of full set of financial statements, such as P&L, Balance Sheet, and bank reconciliations
• Perform monthly financial closing activities and generate reports for the parent company
• Provide necessary data for consolidation purposes at the parent company quarterly
• Be the main point of contact for banks and financial institutions
• Preparation of tax computation, GST declaration and income tax filing
• Act as the primary contact for external auditor and coordinate all audit-related activities
• Process payroll, prepare and submit CPF contributions and yearly IR8A submission
• Any adhoc duties as assigned by the management

Job Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in accounting
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and regulations
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
