· Understand and get expose to management reporting and information used by Management to assess a company’s performance

Accounting Intern Requirements:

· Actively working towards a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Accounting.

· Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles (for e.g. IFRS).

· Aptitude for mathematics, proficiency with computers, strong analytical and critical mindset.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.

· Motivation and a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.

Location: Central

Responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices and record in Quickbooks for accounts payable
• Generate and record customer invoices in Quickbooks for accounts receivable
• Handle staff reimbursements, recording transactions in Quickbooks
• Clear accounting support tickets promptly
• Post month-end close journals and finalize Trial Balance
• Upload reports into Tagetik
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or business is a minimum requirement.
• Possess at least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
• Able to work independently, proactive, and effective communication skills.
• Candidate can start immediately.
