Job Summary

The Assistant Accountant will support the finance department by performing various accounting tasks. Primary Purpose

Responsible for a variety of book-keeping duties, such as checking of invoices, sending invoices for approval, posting of invoices to Accpac system, and timely payment of all hotel invoices and disbursements, month end journal posting, and maintain proper files for accounts payable section, and assists in auditing.

Core Responsibilities

• Audit and process all invoices. • To ensure hotel only pays for goods and services which are bona fide purchases. Prepare prompt and accurate allocations of all accounts payable on a timely basis for posting.
