Our client is a Trading MNC company, one of the leading players in the Oil & Gas sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting an Accounts Executive to be part of their Accounting team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central – easily accessible.

Role Description of Accounts Executive:

• Generate and issue sales invoices on a daily basis.
• Maintain a daily log for invoices and payments.
• Update daily records for sales and purchases, covering Physical, Paper, and Opex transactions, and perform monthly reconciliations.
• Conduct monthly maintenance and valuation of inventory.
• Handle monthly updates and valuation of physical fair values.
• Review and reclassify suspense accounts, ensuring accurate recording of freight costs in the system.
• Track and manage invoice due dates to ensure timely payments.
• Perform other accounting-related tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in AP & GL accounting
• Experience in Oil & Gas industry will be a bonus

Job Scope:

As an Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for managing various accounting functions independently.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Handling the full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Performing data entry for invoices and updating accounts receivable records, issuing invoices promptly.
• Managing accounts payable, performing reconciliations, and processing payments in a timely manner.
• Posting and processing journal entries to accurately record all business transactions.
• Assisting in the review of expenses, contracts, revenue reports, and other financial documents as assigned.
• Updating financial data in databases to ensure accuracy and availability of information.
• Assisting in quarterly GST preparation and submission, as well as annual auditing and tax requirements.
• Preparing financial schedules (General Ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets) to ensure timely monthly closing of accounts.
• Compiling and analyzing financial information for reporting purposes.
• Preparing financial statements and management reports for internal use.
• Assisting in cash flow management and forecasting for assigned entities.
• Performing any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Highest qualification in Accounting or Finance (e.g., Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Availability: Must be able to start work immediately.
