Direct Search Global is working a fast-growing electrical supplier to fill a role of Accounts Assistant in their Singapore office. The office is in Tuas.

Job Responsibilities:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
• Generate and process invoices for clients and vendors.
• Track and manage petty cash transactions.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
• Collaborate with the finance team to accomplish department goals and objectives.
• Provide administrative support as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificates in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role is an advantage.
• Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Position: Accounts Receivables (Healthcare/Good Working Environment)- Up to $3200 + Bonus
• Location: Novena Square
• Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays | 9am to 6pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $3,200 + 18 Days Annual Leave + Performance Bonus (up to 3 months) + Medical/Dental Benefits $700/year

Responsibilities:

• Perform day to day AR transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting and recording AR data
• Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Verify descrepencies and resolve clinics’s/hospital’s billing issues
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting hospitals
• Generate statements of accounts detailing accounts receivable status
• Responsible for obtaining timely payments from clinics’/hospitals within agreed payment terms and reducing AR outstanding
• Any other ad-hoc matters assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
• Must have minimum 2 years of related experience in the Healthcare Industry
• Candidates with Audit experience will have an added advantage
