Duties of Admin Assistant:

• Efficiently manage incoming telephone calls.
• Oversee company insurance renewal.
• Supervise maintenance and repair activities for vehicles, machinery, equipment, and air conditioning systems.
• Coordinate government license applications and renewals.
• Organize document filing, stationery inventory, and petty cash management.
• Handle accounts receivables and payables, including generating invoices and reconciling supplier statements.
• Follow up on customer payments and collections, maintaining accurate financial records.
• Communicate with customers regarding deliveries and support general accounting tasks using SAP software.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accountancy or related field
• At least 1 year experience in administrative functions
• Knowledge of PivotTable is an added advantage

My client, a professional service firm specialized in accounting, corporate secretarial, tax and business support services is seeking an Accounts executive to join their team.

The incumbent will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including data entry, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with bookkeeping and accounting software, and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Enter financial transactions into the company's accounting system accurately and in a timely manner.

• Reconcile bank statements and identify and resolve any discrepancies.

• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.

• Preparation and filing of tax and GST return with IRAS.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Maintain accurate records and filing systems for financial documents.

• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Adhere to internal control procedures and financial regulations.

Requirements:

• A Level or Diploma in Accounting or a related field

• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping will be added advantage.

• Provide backup support for AR staff.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

• 2 to 3 years accounting experience
