Requirement:

· Diploma in Accountancy or Finance

· Minimum 2 years of working experience in handling transactions accounting, financial controls and reporting

· Proficient in Excel

· Experience in fast-paced retail environment is a plus

· A team player and meticulous with an eye for details

• Position : Accounts Assistant (AR/AP) | 2 Days WFh | Up to $3500 - 3 Months Contract

Main Responsibilities:

• AR & AP Duties, verifying company credit card statements, tracking payments, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables.
• Manage the timely closing process and reconciliations, including for intercompany transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of the financial statements & ACRA Filing with Company Secretary.
• Conducting periodic reconciliations of bank accounts, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Quarterly GST submission & Daily cashbook update.
• Verify sales commissions and incentives.
• Work with Malaysia's accounts assistant to ensure the team's effectiveness and productivity.
• Other Ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

• Minimum of Nitec/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with 1 year of experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using accounting software (Xero, HubSpot) is an advantage.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with chinese speaking associates.
