Job Description:

• Perform review and Master Asset Tree tagging of the contract breakdown related to construction, additions & alteration works and common costs of development project for cost allocation and asset capitalisation purpose.
• Facilitate in retrieval of supporting documents and seek clarification on the contracts from multiple parties (e.g, Development Contracts & Cost Control team, CE Planning, Design & Control team as well as Project Management team) so to understand nature of contract works and perform review and tagging accurately.
• Coordinate and assist in the annual fixed asset sighting exercise to ensure existence and completeness of asset sighting. This includes liaising with the different asset controllers to identify the assets; assist in updating the changes to asset details; and perform actual asset sighting with asset controllers for samples selected.
• Assist in day to day operation duties and month/year-end closing and reporting activities.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
• 0-1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience in SAP will be advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and able to engage stakeholders.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

You will be part of a 6-person Accounts Team.

The Role: The role encompasses a comprehensive range of Accounts Payables functions, including, but not limited to, processing invoices for payment to suppliers and vendors, verifying staff expense claims, data entries in accounting system, end-of-month closing activities, and performing bank reconciliations. In addition, you will also be responsible for GST checking and reconciliation, liaising with staff, suppliers, and vendors to address payment issues, arranging funding for payments, following up on AR receivebles, maintaining the Fixed Assets register and other Balance Sheet Schedules, as well as Management Reporting. You will be managing one assistant.

Skills and Experience Required: You should possess at least a Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent, with minimum 5 years of experience in performing accounts payable duties. You are expected to be a great team player with huge sense of ownership and responsibility and possess good communication skills. Able to meet deadlines is a must.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire range of Accounts Receivable (AR) responsibilities.
• Guarantee precise and prompt processing of Goods Return Note.
• Coordinate local cheque bank deposits and daily update of incoming funds in the NAV system to ensure the timely update of customer accounts.
• Monitor and follow up with customers regarding overdue accounts, and facilitate debt collection when necessary.
• Reconcile Customer Collection with Bank Ledger and take charge of monitoring monthly/weekly Debtors aging.
• Prepare monthly and year-end Balance Sheet schedules and collaborate with internal and external auditors.

Requirements

• Possess a Diploma/Degree in Accounting.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Proficient in using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
