We are looking for a passionate Programme Executive to plan and coordinate the day-to-day programme. guide volunteers to carry out the programme activities, work with other organisations to execute programmes, manage communications and feedback from stakeholders, as well as conduct outreach activities to other organisations and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan, develop and manage engagement programmes (workshops, educational talks, festive events, etc.) to be held at designated neighbourhood touchpoints for Seniors.

· Allocate appropriate resources, recruitment of seniors / volunteers / partners for the programmes, and to plan and execute publicity for such events.

· Supervise and train volunteers / partners in the running of approved programmes and provide administrative support to volunteers / partners involved.

· Monitor seniors' health and wellness, make referrals to appropriate agencies, and conduct home or hospital visits.

· Manage the AAS (Alert Alarm System), SC phone and its maintenance.

· Provide support for seniors, including health monitoring and communication with next of kin.

· Conduct community outreach within the vicinity of the service area and perform needs assessment to ascertain service needs and gaps of the senior residents.

Requirements

· Possess Higher Diploma or Diploma in Gerontology, ITE NITEC in Community Care and Social Services, or Diploma in Social Enterprise/Entrepreneurship

· Ability to train volunteers to facilitate creative arts / baking / cooking / singing / music instruments / florist / live streaming in senior programmes.

· Ability to host or deliver programmes in front of a crowd of 10 – 80 seniors is a must.

· Familiarity with live-stream or data-entry and administration is preferred.

· Experience in social services not necessary

· Fully conversant and able to translate in Malay / Mandarin and English, ability to converse in Hokkien / Teochew will be a bonus, due to clients being seniors.

· Must be a good team-player, with a passion to work with seniors.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Has a strong passion in outreach and community work with seniors

The Administrative Assistant, Ministry Support provides administrative support to the assigned Ministerial staff in carrying out the operational responsibilities of the Church and reports to the Church Administrator. The person in this position uses initiative and discretion in interaction with staff, congregants and visitors. Because of the nature of the role, this individual must demonstrate a high level of trust and the ability to protect the reputation and integrity of others through strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Ministry Support

Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of assigned ministry including scheduling and coordinating ministry meetings, preparing and mailing correspondence, handling ministry posts and incoming letters, preparing ministry reports, presentations, etc.

Other assigned support:

o Prepare ministry newsletters and mass mailing.

o Raise Payment Request (PR) and seek relevant approval for ministry expenses.

o Manage ministry database including updating of participants’ contacts.

o Provide logistical support including study materials to be distributed to participants.

o Coordinate ministry events, pre-event publicity, registration and compile post-event feedback evaluation.

o Assist with ministry outreach programs

Office/Clerical Support

· Assist with screening and routing of incoming calls and visitors to the Church office; warmly greeting persons with a friendly, courteous and helpful attitude; providing pertinent and appropriate information to callers and/or visitors.

· Monitor and maintain office supplies.

· Attend ministry events as necessary.

· Attend Administrative Staff and Senior Staff meetings as required.

· Other duties as assigned or called upon to assist including

o providing clerical, administrative or communication support to other ministries where required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing

· Develop and execute strategies to position and enhance SCDT’s branding.

· Create comprehensive marketing plans, including advertising, promotions, and strategic initiatives to boost awareness, audience engagement, and student enrolment for SCDT’s programmes.

· Drive marketing efforts for membership, sponsorship, partnerships, and fundraising activities.

2. Programmes & Engagement

· Support the smooth planning and implementation of SCDT’s programmes;

· Implement targeted marketing strategies to build awareness of SCDT’s offerings;

· Engage donors, members, and patrons through programme-related activities;

· Work towards achieving key performance indicators (KPIs); and

· Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders.

3. Communication

· Develop press releases and liaise with media for effective coverage;

· Communicate with stakeholders through media channels to boost awareness of SCDT and its initiatives;

· Manage SCDT’s website and digital presence; and

· Assist in collection and respond to feedback and inquiries for continuous improvement.

4. Operations

· Provide support to SCDT’s daily operations when required.

Other Duties / Tasks

· Prepare and submit marketing workplan/budget for each fiscal year;

· Manage marketing and engagement initiatives within budget and effectiveness;

· Handle administrative tasks with follow-up as needed;

· Oversee the production of marketing materials such as newsletters, brochures, posters, and banners; and

· Any other tasks assigned by SCDT.

Qualifications:

· Diploma in Marketing / Business / Communication

· At least 2 years’ experience in marketing. Some experience in events management is a plus.

· Proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) due to operation needs.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Customer-focused, service-oriented, and able to work independently

· Able to use graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), videography and Photography

• Coordinate external & internal communications flow (memos, newsletters, etc.).

• Write statements, speeches, emcee scripts for events and video scripts.

• Plan events, seminar/ webinars & press conferences.

• Communicate with media regularly.

• Manage media inquiries & arrange interviews.

• Build long-term relationships with influencers and key stakeholders.

• Collaborate with other Business units on articles & blogs.

• Develop the Annual Report.

• Prepares & delivers presentations to external & internal stakeholders.

Green Communities

• Assist to arrange and conduct training workshops for all green hope auditors to promote environmentally responsible living.

• Assist to liaise with IT vendor to enhance the green homes website.

• Support the collation of audit bookings from residents.

• Assist to administer and ascertain the distribution of home audits to the volunteers.

• Provide monthly data to the finance department monthly to ensure prompt billing to the green home auditors.

• Assist to facilitate biodiversity learning trails.

• Assist to develop contents for the biodiversity trails.

Earth Helpers’ Program

• Facilitate new recruitments sign-ups, garnering participation from schools, corporate and SEC’s clients.

• Provide support to execute on-going volunteer events.

• Assist to develop new volunteer events and activities.

• Garner participation from schools, corporate and SEC’s clients for SEC’s volunteer events.

• Assist to regularly update volunteer hours.

Others

• Help out at SEC Company events.

• Emcee at small scale Company events, where appropriate.

• Any other adhoc duties as and when assigned by your immediate supervisor or the Management.
