Responsibilities

• Supporting the development of Crimson’s Singapore Marketing strategy with a focus on increasing lead generation and conversion.

Job Scope:

• Samples preparation and product testing to support fragrance projects and product development for all types of Laundry care, cosmetics, personal care and Fine fragrance products.
• Monitor the application tests and evaluate its stability in term of both olfactive and appearance, preparation of reports for both internal departments and sales.
• Perform test (stability, pH and viscosities) and application of fragrance for evaluation
• Participate in panel testing of fragranced products
• Observe the durability of the samples and report on abnormality
• Assist in formulating new bases, policies and procedures
• Preparation of application and samples for sensory testing by Perfumer, CFG’s
• Maintain and track stock level of laboratory equipment and supplies such as glass bottles, raw materials etc, for base formulation
• Operate, maintain, calibrate and sterilize laboratory equipment and work areas
• Systematic filing and maintenance of formulation and records
• Regularly check and ensure raw materials are stored at correct temperature to ensure quality and safety
• Ensure that bio-hazardous materials are disposed safely
• Perform standard laboratory tests in according to prescribed procedures and recording of test results
• Maintain and ensure a clean and safe laboratory environment and workplace

What the role is

The Waste Infrastructure and Engineering Division (WIED) oversees the planning, engineering design and development of all NEA waste management infrastructure. ​ ​ ​ ​

What you will be working on

The officer will play an active role in the planning, development and management of future solid waste management facilities such as Waste-to-Energy plant and food waste treatment plant that will contribute towards the targets set forth under the SG Greenplan 2030. The work scope and responsibilities include the following:

• Develop the various waste management facilities, obtain planning approval and funding support
• Plan and implement project schedules to ensure timely project execution
• Administer the procurement process to select and appoint project consultants and contractors, including preparation of tender documents
• Manage consultants in carrying out feasibility/prelim design/detailed design studies
• Supervise consultants/contractors and carry out site inspections to ensure that the waste management facilities are developed in a timely and cost-effective manner, in compliance with the tender requirements
• Manage funding and budget planning cycles for projects
• Work and liaise with various internal and external stakeholders of projects

What we are looking for

• Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering is preferred. Applicants with degree in other engineering fields with work experience in a related field may also be considered.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in engineering will be highly preferred.
• Knowledge in solid waste management systems, project management and review of building plans and engineering drawings would be advantageous
