EVENTS & RESERVATION EXECUTIVE

Duties & Responsibilities

Report to the Executive Chef and GM

Events

· Convert inquiries into successful/confirmed events

· Execution of operational activities for various individual events

· Able to articulate the venue professionally towards all potential guest

· Handle incoming enquiries and update events management system

· Perform site-inspections for potential clients

· Attend or conduct event briefings on weekly basis

· On-site event management

· Pro-actively reach out for revenue opportunities within events sales for both private as well as corporate accounts

· Attention to detail and propose different insights for returning customers

· Handle events client database

· Handle off-site catering

· Any ad-hoc duties as per assigned by supervisors

Reservations

· Handle enquiry via phone calls, emails and social media messages from the customers, in a prompt and respectful manner..

· Ensuring that all guests are well taken care of and that they all have an outstanding and memorable experience from before the set foot at the restaurant until they leave the restaurant.

· Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the reception. Update the managers of reservation forecast and for VIP bookings.

· Serve as a brand ambassador by welcoming visitors and partners and answering any questions people might have about the restaurant.

· Keen understanding of offerings within concepts of both restaurants.

· Handle enquiry via phone calls, emails and social media messages from the customers, in a prompt and respectful manner.

· Updating menus on website and partner websites.

· Perform other tasks or projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

· Communication: Talk to guests, listening to their needs and presenting ideas and solutions to their requirements. Always thinking about how to create little moments for the guests. Customer service and interpersonal skills are required.

· Calm under Pressure: Ability to remain calm during crisis and the pressure of high call/email volume.

· Negotiation Skills: Need negotiation skills to work out the best way to plan the sitting arrangements for lunch/dinner service.

· Problem-Solving Skills: Being able to quickly resolve issues.

This role is 2 years direct contract with the client.

Key Responsibilities:

• New Business Development: Lead efforts to generate new business opportunities, driving revenue growth through direct sales initiatives and targeting new customers.
• Channel Partnership: Collaborate with distributors, resellers, and Value-Added Resellers (VARs), utilizing their market insights to align sales strategies and maximize channel impact.
• Channel Support & Enablement: Equip channel partners with the necessary resources, training, and continuous support to effectively promote and sell our products and services.
• Sales Strategy Execution: Work closely with internal sales teams to develop and execute strategies that align with both business objectives and partner goals.
• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with direct clients and channel partners, ensuring satisfaction and fostering loyalty.
• Performance Monitoring: Regularly evaluate sales and channel performance, conducting business reviews to refine strategies and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities to continuously refine strategies and drive growth.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns and programs that support both direct and channel sales efforts.

Requirements:

• A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in commercial or channel sales, ideally within the technology sector.
• Strong understanding of channel sales principles, including best practices for managing relationships with distributors, resellers, and VARs.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and develop new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with a collaborative approach to working with others.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce experience is a plus).
• Willingness to travel to client sites, partner locations, and industry events as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing relationships with direct sales teams, distributors, resellers, or VARs.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Background in working within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Support community care planning and development, enhance integration of care and improve population health
• Supporting the monitoring and reporting of various workstreams within integrated community care system
• Supporting in project planning and management
• Support in stakeholder engagement and build partnerships
• Any other duties assigned by supervisors and HOD

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Strong analytical abilities
• Project management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Adept in people skills to foster buy-in and collaboration
• At least 2 years of working experience
• Knowledge and experience in project management will be advantageous
• Experience in the Singapore healthcare system and/or knowledge of integrated care models will be advantageous
