Key Responsibilities

Accounting Duties

• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including processing invoices, payments, and tracking outstanding balances.
• Reconcile financial statements, including bank statements, to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Invoicing Support

• ⁠Prepare, send, and store invoices for all transactions.

General Support

• Provide backup support for other administrative staff during their absence by managing their tasks effectively.

Requirements

Role:

Retail Assistant (Showroom / FMCG food)

• Singapore Based (Boon Lay)
• 5.5 Days work per week (Mon-Fri 9AM – 6PM / 10AM to 7PM, Sat 9AM to 1PM)

Job scope

Assess customers’ needs and provide assistance and information on product features

Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries

Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas

Actively seek out customers in-store and handle cashier, payment

Remain knowledgeable on products offered and product promotion

Process POS (point of sale) purchases/Cashiering

Handle returns of merchandise

Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service

Comply with inventory control procedures (weekly and yearend inventory)

Help in picking for Online orders

Do other task as assigned by Management

Job Scope:

• Handle invoice matching task; receive, review, and verify all invoices and ensure its accuracy and supported with relevant documents before posting to accounting system.
• Ensure all documents are properly filed and scan to document management system.
• Perform monthly vendors’ reconciliation.
• Liaise with vendor to resolve all discrepancies in relation to billing.
• Prepare payment and submit to superior on time.
• Any ad-hoc assignments.

Requirements:

• With a relevant accounting qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in similar capacity.
• Proactive, good team player, mature and able to work independently.
• Possess adequate skills in Microsoft applications such as Excel and Word.
• Able to meet a tight deadline.
