This is a 1-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position, contingent on business needs and individual performance.

RResponsibilities

· Responsible for Accounts Payable activities in Singapore and Japan.

· Processing of vendor invoices in high volume.

· Processing of payment run for all modes of payments.

· Performing bank clearing, vendor reconciliations, etc

· Preparation of year-end audit schedules & timely submission of all statutory obligations such as audited accounts & filing of various returns.

· Liaising with auditors and responding to any queries.

· Review, validate & process refunds/reimbursements.

Requirements

· Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

· Diploma in accounting and any professional finance/accounting qualification

· Handles tasks independently and within a tight deadline.

· Can-do attitude, driven and passionate about work

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data

Job Responsibilities

· Financial Controlling and Reporting activities for monthly and yearly closing.

· Review financial statements and prepare insightful P&L commentary for submission.

· Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliation in Blackline.

· Understand tax requirement for Singapore and Australia and prepare Singapore GST and Australia BAS return.

· Approve the payments in banking portal.

· Process payment runs and execute payment instructions in banking portal

· Process AR Receipts in ERP system, follow up on Debtors aging, perform intercompany confirmation at month end.

· Initiate process improvement ideas via automation tools.

· Participate in any testing of new project.

· Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

· Accounting experience handling month end close and willing to do hand on accounting transaction work.

· IT savvy and well-versed in Microsoft office applications

· Strong team player with good interpersonal, communication and organisational skill

· Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work autonomously.

· Service oriented, able to provide a very high level of service to internal customers.

· Meticulous and attentive with details

• Issue, print and mail out Tax Invoices
• Issue Debit & Credit Notes
• Sending E-invoices to selected customers
• Sending of E-SOA to all customers
• Timely Collection of Accounts Receivables
• Data entry for supplier tax invoices
• Sort, match and file Delivery Orders (DO)
• Follow up on customers’ requests like sending copies of Tax Invoices, DO’s, etc.
• Assist in any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the department head

REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to use email/Microsoft Word/Excel
• Knowledge in using Microsoft Navision or any software is an advantage
• Minimum 1 year of experience
