About the Finance Department:

The Finance Department oversees the organization’s financial activities, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulations. It collaborates closely with other teams to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation. Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable:

• Fee collection, deposit and timely posting of entries and passing of journals
• Work closely with centres to ensure smooth operation and compliance to procedures
• Perform account receivable reconciliations and investigate and resolve any irregularities
• Manage and update customer information
• Issue invoice and statement of account
• Assist in AR aging review
• Prepare quarterly schedules for period end closing
• Assist in statutory and special audit

Requirements:

• GCE ‘A” Level/Diploma holder (qualification in accounting or finance is a plus)
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Comfortable interacting with people with good interpersonal skills
• Detail-orientated and meticulous
• Able to work under some pressure with time sensitive tasks
• Good problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Manage partial sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger entries.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Process payments, handle bank reconciliations, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support the Accounting Department in month-end closing activities.
• Liaise with clients and vendors to address invoicing, payment, and account-related inquiries.
• Monitor and update financial data in accounting systems to maintain accuracy.
• Prepare reports and documentation required for audits or management review.
• Ensure proper filing and organization of accounting documents for easy retrieval.

Requirements
