RESPONSIBILITY

· Full set of Accounts (eg: GL, AP, AR, Bank reconciliation, Payroll & etc)

· Plan, oversee overall accounting strategy

· Oversea accounting daily operation

· Responsible for AR/AP, cash receipt, GL, payroll, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure

· Handling full spectrum of payroll from overtime & commission calculation to processing of employees salary

· Monthly CPF submission

· Quarterly GST Submission

· Monitor and analyses accounting data

· Regularly produce financial reports and statement

· Tax Computation

· Encourage other employee to adhere to standard

· Provide recommendations

REQUIREMENT

· Degree in Accountancy

· At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

· Preferable with knowledge of Accounting System

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Able to work independently

Responsibilities:

• Perform partial/full set of accounts ensuring timely and accurate month end closing
• Handle day-to-day finance and accounting functions (i.e., accounts receivable, accounts payable and other accounting functions)
• Record and manage transactions, accruals, prepayments and finance costs
• Perform bank reconciliations and quarterly GST reporting
• Prepare required schedules and reports for yearly audit and tax purpose
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma/Degree in Accounting or its equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in similar capacity and industry (Freight Forwarding)
• Ability to fulfil time-critical tasks on time, keep schedules and deadlines.
• Mature, detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently.
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Good working knowledge in accounting principles and standard practices
