The Company

Our client, a global company in the engineering sector, is currently looking for a 6 months’ contract accounts receivable executive to join their dynamic team.

The Role

The role is responsible for overseeing the complete credit management cycle, including invoicing, tracking, and communication with both customers and internal teams such as sales and operations, as well as executing collection processes and daily updating of actual cash proceeds. Additionally, the role will be tasked with forecasting cash collection, collaborating with other teams to drive collection performance, and providing weekly and monthly collection forecasts. Other duties include verifying final invoices, managing bi-annual third-party credit limits for existing non-intercompany credit customers, and working with the sales team to establish new customer accounts with credit analysis and proposed limits. Furthermore, the role is involved in month-end and quarter-end financial closing, reporting, and reconciliation processes.

Your Profile

You should possess at least a Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent, with some relevant experience in accounts receivable. You are expected to have good communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate internally with team members as well as externally with clients. In this role you will:

A. Sales Support:

· Reporting to Sales Manager.

· Being the centre point of contact for sales ordering placing, including orders from various countries.

· Efficiently process orders and coordinate deliveries.

· Be involved with the entire sales operations process, from issuing invoice, navigating customer to payment platform, issuing sales order, purchase orders to other trade-related documents.

· Responsible for shipment arrangement to ensure smooth & consistent goods delivery.

· Establish active communication and engagement with sales and logistic team to ensure that orders are processed promptly.

· Point of contact for Key account inquiries and being an inside sales for existing customers.

B. Accounts:

· Maintain accuracy of general ledger.

· Perform daily accounting & finance duties including receivables and payables processes, general ledger, tax and bank reconciliation etc.

· Prepare monthly financial and management reports for management.

· Oversee AR and AP data and maintenance of sub-ledger;

· Handle data entry of transactions to accounting system.

· Support audit and tax queries.

Qualifications & Requirements

· Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level & ITE or Diploma with 1 years working experience will be an advantage.

· Basic accounting skills.

· Computer skill such as MS Office.

· Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
