• Implement and execute training plans and conduct trainings as well as post-training evaluations

• Handle General Administrative Duties
• Provide support to the various departments

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma / Degree in Human Resource or Business - related fields
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in Staffing / Recruitment industry will be added advantage

Job responsibilities
- Responsible for preparing and cutting ingredients, washing vegetables, meats, etc., and ensuring all ingredients are properly handled.
- Need to keep the kitchen tidy and hygienic, including cleaning work surfaces, kitchen utensils, tableware, etc., to ensure compliance with hygienic standards.
- Participate in some simple food cooking tasks, such as stewing soups, grilling meat, etc., and sometimes perform more complex cooking tasks.
- Before opening, ensure that the kitchen equipment is functioning properly and the ingredients are complete to meet the catering needs of the day.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff, including communicating effectively with chefs, waiters, etc. to ensure the entire catering team operates collaboratively.
- Comply with food safety and hygiene standards and ensure that all food prepared complies with hygiene regulations to protect the health of diners.
- Inventory management, monitor the inventory of ingredients, and promptly report items that need to be reordered to the chef.

NTU is seeking experienced and motivated individuals to join our dynamic team in the Office of Development and Facilities Management. The department oversees the physical development and maintenance of all University buildings and grounds in support of the academic, research and administrative functions of the University. As the Senior Executive, Maintenance Operations, you are responsible for the management of the student hostels in the Residential Zone to ensure that they are safe to use and functional at all times for the enjoyment of the residents.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and supervise maintenance activities to ensure inspection programmes and preventive maintenance works are carried out as planned and in accordance with standards expected. Follow up promptly on corrective maintenance works to minimize downtime.
• Supervise daily and cyclical cleaning programs, conduct regular inspections and monthly performance assessment to ensure cleaning standards are met.
• Understand scope of user’s requirements, develop work proposals and estimate associated costs. Oversee procurement of services, supervise work progress and ensure materials and workmanship meet standards. Review and track site progress through meetings and inspections to meet user’s project completion timeline.
• Supervise BCA periodic structural and façade inspections conducted by appointed Qualified Person according to planned schedule and follow up with rectification of identified defects.
• Engage with event organizers upon event notification and gather event support requirements. Supervise logistical setup and technical support as required.
• Identify improvement works, maintenance needs and cyclical maintenance programmes and derive budget required for Office of Campus Housing.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience while those with a Diploma with at least 5 years of relevant experience will also be considered
• Good knowledge in building services design, installation and maintenance
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Self-motivated, positive working attitude and customer-oriented
• Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with different levels of people.
