Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing - Aerospace
• Position Title: Accounts Officer (Treasury)/ Accounts Assistant (Treasury)
• Working Location: Loyang Way
• Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5.18 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Performance Bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices and payments for trade vendors.
• Prepare invoices and supporting documents for trade facility applications.
• Monitor invoices lacking Goods Received Notes (GRN) and coordinate with the Sales Team for timely resolution.
• Track advance payments to vendors, ensuring invoices are matched to GRN and accurately posted in the ERP system.
• Manage all transactions related to trade accounts payable within the ERP system.
• Reconcile vendor statements of accounts to ERP records.
• Address year-end audit inquiries specifically related to accounts payable.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Accounting and Finance.

Our Accounting Firm needs you to perform the following for our clients:

• Preparing of financial data for entry into accounting system
• Bank Reconciliation
• Prepare Management Accounts
• Prepare financial statements
• Prepare tax computations
• Prepare goods and services tax
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Training provided
• Diploma in accountancy (with or without experience) / Degree in Accounting / Ongoing ACCA / ACCA graduates / LCCI Higher
• Experience with accounting software is an advantage
• Eager to learn and able to work independently under pressure
• Positive attitude, meticulous and someone with initiative
• Possess strong honesty, integrity and confidentiality
• Good communications and interpersonal skills, able to speak Mandarin is an advantage (to liaise with Chinese speaking associates)

Salary Range: SGD3,000 – SGD4,000

Location: Marymount

Duration: 6 months contract (possibility to extend to 12 months)

Responsibilities:

• Assist and support the accounting team with daily accounts payable (AP) processes and fixed asset management tasks.
• Perform reconciliation of monthly fixed asset and lease agreements.
• Provide support for system migration projects by conducting data verification and checks.
• Assist in reviewing daily tax key postings to ensure accuracy for GST submissions.
• Contribute to the execution of detective control checks to maintain financial accuracy.
• Undertake other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in Accounts Payable and GST knowledge is preferable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software.
• Experience in SAP is beneficial
