Outside the operating businesses, Weybourne manages an investment portfolio and provides financial and other professional support to the Dyson Family, their estates, and personal business interests. Overview - Role and Department:
The Assistant Finance Manager will collaborate with the Finance team in Singapore and the UK to deliver exceptional accounting and financial support. The successful candidate will have a specific focus on Weybourne Holding Pte Limited (WHPL) and its subsidiary companies as necessary.

Key responsibilities:
- Preparing management accounts in accordance with agreed policies and procedures, providing valuable commentary and analysis against budget and other reports for the WHPL Group and its associated entities.
- Creating monthly cashflows and P&L forecasts to support business managers, ensuring a consistent and appropriate approach.
- Reviewing management accounts and information of other entities as needed.
- Coordinating and facilitating the annual budget process, including preparing information for Board approval.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key budget holders, offering regular reporting and support as needed.
- Preparing necessary information for Board and Audit Committees.
- Overseeing the audit process and maintaining a productive relationship, leading the year-end activities and producing Group and relevant subsidiary/entity statutory accounts.
- Performing control account reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts and month-end schedules.
- Providing technical expertise and accounting support to Weybourne Holdings Group entities as necessary.
- Managing the transfer pricing process, collaborating with the tax team to ensure an up-to-date transfer pricing model, and handling associated billing.
- Managing the recharge process for central family office costs to entities, including conducting regular reviews of rates and charges, and managing associated billing.
- Coordinating and supporting reviews of finance policies and procedures.
- Assisting the Tax team in preparing VAT and GST returns, including providing necessary analysis.
- Reviewing and approving new supplier setups, and checking and releasing AP invoices in the ERP system.
- Supporting the financial training needs of both finance and non-finance employees.
- Assisting with other ad hoc projects and analysis as directed by Senior Management.

- Qualified Accountant or equivalent post graduate qualification in Finance, Accounting or related discipline with demonstrable qualified experience
- Previous experience in a role in a similar position (involving most of the key tasks listed above).
- Commitment to meeting demanding reporting deadlines.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Computer literate, with good skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience of an ERP system desirable.
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to interact with individuals from a range of backgrounds.
- Willing and able to take responsibility and ownership for tasks.
- Ability to work autonomously when required, whilst still possessing strong teamwork skills.
