Looking for an Accounts Executive who is able to work independently and efficiently.

Proficient in MYOB.

Preferably with at least 3 years experience handling full set of accounts.

Diploma and/or LCCI equivalent.

Reports to the Finance Manager and Group FC.

Duties include :

• Handle day-to-day general bookkeeping and accounting duties using MYOB for a portfolio of companies.
• Keeping full set of accounts.
• Submit monthly management accounts.
• Prepare quarterly GST reports.
• Prepare annual XBRL reports.
• Assist in audit queries and prepare audit schedules.
• Assist in tax queries.
• Liaise with company secretary on secretarial matters.
• Liaise with banks on account matters.

We need to hire an administration officer to support our business operations and management in terms of office operations, office supplies,data entry and general well-being of the company.

This person will be reporting directly to the Manager of the company.

1. Daily processing of all invoices and ensures that all attached supporting documents are in order and ensuring that accounting principles and policies are complied with the club SOP before commit through Accounting System.
2. Ensure that all payments are fully attached with supporting documents and in compliance with the club SOP before process any payment,

• Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for services rendered.
• Researching and resolving account discrepancies.
• Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.
• Tracking and recording all incoming payments
• Following up on unpaid invoices and late payments.
• Reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies.
• Generating and sending invoices.
• Processing credit memos and refunds.
• Any other ad hoc duties as and when assigned by the Senior Accountant / Financial Controller.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Book keeping, Invoice Issue, Payment Preparation, Monthly Reconciliation for client companies

. Assist Accountant to manage full sets of accounts of a given portfolio of client companies

· Prepare XBRL/unaudited report /GST returns preparation and filing

· Personal tax/payroll/IR8A

REQUIREMENTS

· Candidates should either have a diploma in accountancy or at least 1 year experience in an outsource firm

· Expertise with QuickBooks, Xero and similar accounting software

· Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases

· Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English and Mandarin

· Independent in managing own workload, ability to work under pressure and to keep things moving

About the role:

Accounts Executive, Payroll

Reporting to the Accountant, we are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounts Executive, Payroll to manage the hotel’s payroll system, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of wages in compliance with applicable tax laws and Four Seasons Hotel Singapore policies. This role requires knowledge of any Payroll software, strong technical expertise in payroll processes and accounting principles.

What you will do:

• Accurately input and process payroll data for the preparation of cheques.
• Review employee status changes and ensure correct data entry into the payroll system.
• Reconcile discrepancies in pay cheques with Department Heads or individual employees.
• Assist with the reconciliation of Banquet and F&B outlet tips and service charges.
• Conduct annual payroll audits for each department and resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain and file all bi-weekly payroll documentation.
• Support month-end processes, including payroll journals and accruals.
• Ensure payroll taxes are accurately collected, remitted, and filed in a timely manner.
• Ensure labour law compliance regarding overtime, job classifications, and service charges.
• Prepare labour and productivity reports for discussion with Department Heads and the Assistant Director of Finance.
• Assist with special audits such as Workers' Compensation and Labour Compliance.

What you bring:

• Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in payroll or accounting, ideally within the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in payroll systems, with experience in TIMES Payroll being an advantage.
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and payroll-related financial reporting. Knowledge of relevant labour laws and regulations regarding payroll, payroll taxes and employee compensation.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to process large volumes of data with a high degree of accuracy.
• High level of professional integrity and ethical standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain harmonious relationships with colleagues and supervisors.
• Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive payroll information.
• Ability to work in an organised, safe, and efficient manner under pressure.
