Responsibilities

• Assist in legal matters that arise from time to time in relation to our Malaysia subsidiary, including with the assistance of external counsel as may be appropriate
• Assist in the preparation of company policies and training materials for the Malaysia subsidiary
• Update management on various compliance matters from time to time in relation to the Malaysia subsidiary, under the guidance of the Director of the Legal Department
• Engage in enterprise risk management activities, in addition to legal and compliance related risk management, in relation to the Malaysia subsidiary
• Carry out corporate secretarial work, in relation to the Malaysia subsidiary, by liasing with external counsel on such matters
• Staying up to date with relevant regulatory changes for Malaysia
• Assist with any other tasks that the Legal Department may need to undertake
• Other ad-hoc duties.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a degree in law
  Candidate must have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience working for law firm/ in-house legal department
