Job Description:

As an Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable function within the finance department. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports, while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, verifying appropriate approvals and coding.
• Prepare and perform weekly, monthly, and annual payment runs.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with procurement and other departments to resolve invoice and payment-related inquiries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records in the accounting system.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes related to accounts payable.
• Generate financial reports and analysis related to accounts payable as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the accounts payable function.
• Provide support to other areas of the finance department and any ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1 year of experience in accounts payable or similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
