URGENT for M&E RTO

Project Location: NTU Campus (West Region)

Job Description:

• Assist the Resident Engineer and Job Manager to attend to technical and design issues at site and report issues to Job Manager
• Provide standing supervision as and when directed by the Resident Engineer and/or Consultant team.
• Check through construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies found between or within the same disciplines prior to the commencement of installation works.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance to approve drawings and specifications.
• Ensure adequate safety precautions are enforced on site.
• Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
• Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning.
• Maintain site records.
• Preferably to commence November 2024

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
• A registered Resident Technical Officer with IES / ACES is require.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Resident Technical Officer on local projects.
• Experience in supervision of Electrical Services installation for local Healthcare/Institution/ Commercial Developments/Multi-tenanted Industrial Development would be added advantage
• Experience in Lift and Escalators experiences will be added advantage
• Familiar with local codes and regulations
• Ability to respond to technical questions
• Well-versed with computer software (Microsoft Office, etc)

• Under the Building Control Act, RTOs shall be accredited with Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES)
• Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• To carry out supervision and inspection of the works to ensure that works are constructed in accordance to contract specifications and drawings
• At least 4 years relevant working experience in HDB BTO Project as RTO.
• Preferably need to complete one full cycle of BTO project Under consultant Side.
• Job Duration : 30-36 Month
• Job Location : Punggol, Tampines, Kallang

• Review and verify GST billing compliance accuracy.
• Follow up on overdue payments and invoices.
• Support AR aging meetings and data analysis.
• Cross-check audit confirmations with accounting data.
• Assist with monthly profit and loss reports.

Requirements:

• Minimum Dip/Deg in Accountancy with at least 3-4 years of relevant working experience.

Job Descriptions

• Supervise the construction and related works, maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the project specifications, design intent, approved drawings, and site instructions by the supervising qualified persons and project consultants.
• Check and supervise the work according to the contract documents and ensure that the methods, procedures and materials used comply with the prevailing statutory standards.
• Ensure that the contractors carry out their work in compliance with Building Control Act and Regulations, Codes of Practices and requirements of building authorities and government agencies.
• Liaise with the engineers on the review and approval of design calculations and drawings.
• Assist Engineer/ QPs in their supervisory and coordination duties.
• Review all project drawings and specifications, and raise any discrepancies and/or possible problems before construction work commence on site and progressively throughout the entire course of the project.
• Observe and comply with site safety, and submit all reports as directed and ensure that works are carried out in a safe and proper manner.

Requirements

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.
• At least 1 Year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Must be registered as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with BCA/IES/ACES.
• Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, Autocad.
• Shall have a certificate in Building Construction Supervisors Safety (BCSS) Course.
• Must be a team player with strong leadership, communication, and supervision skills.
