Responsibilities

1. Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

5. Work with senior managers to efficiently develop budget proposals, provide access to project finance information, and ensure contract/grant compliance and reporting.
6. Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
7. Monitor business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for earnings calls, management team, and rest of company.
8. Identifying and managing financial risks.
9. Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives.
10. Manage finance personnel, focus on Fund raising and familiar with MAS reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory entities (ex: Financial Accounting Standards Board, Internal Revenue Service, state attorneys general).
11. Comply with national and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation and taking appropriate action.
12. Managing the company’s capital structure and funding.
13. Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations, and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement.
14. Collaborating with other executives to develop and implement strategic plans.
15. Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization that has strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and workflows.
16. Coordinating with HR Team responsible for full spectrum of HR function (Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquistion & Management, Employee Relations, Compliance, etc.,) and external service providers for outsourcing aspects of HR.

Requirements:

1. Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, business accounting, or finance or Professional certification (ex: Certified Public Accountant)
2. Minimum 12 years & above of relevant experience covering international finance, Fund raising and investor relations.
3. 5 years or more of experience in executive leadership roles, preferably within a fintech or financial services environment.
4. Experience with SaaS business models and their associated revenue recognition will be a plus.
5. Working knowledge of how to raise capital outside traditional lines of credit
6. Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning.
7. Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
8. Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage customer credit control process and follow up closely with customers to ensure prompt collection.
• Review and analyze data from sales orders, invoices, credit notes, and customer purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with uploading specifications for third-party portals.
• Immediately investigate and communicate with the data receiver when dealing with system prompted messages like missing fields or rejection with reason codes.
• Monitor the payment collection and keep track of the successful rates verses total submission.
• Prepare and send monthly statement of accounts to customers. Follow up and resolving SOA issue if any.

Property management:

• Manage the administration/corporate matters of the properties owned by the company.
• Liaise with vendors including government agencies, property agencies, property management company, insurers and so forth for property corporate matters.

Others

• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Certified qualified accountant, and bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in an all-rounded accounting function.
• Experience working in a family office with a diverse role would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Chinese word processing.
• Experience in using Quickbook Accounting System.
