S-Lab for Advanced Intelligence is seeking project officers to join a university-level research centre collaborating with industry. The position is for one year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance. Successful candidates will be involved in a project that is related to generative design.

Key Responsibilities:

• To independently undertake research in computer vision and machine learning.
• To produce research reports and/or publications as required by the funding body or for dissemination to the wider academic community.
• To provide support to any students associated with the project.
• To attend, contribute, and where necessary lead relevant meetings.
• To undertake any other duties relevant to the programme of research.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong background in machine learning and computer vision.
• Knowledge of scientific or engineering software like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.
• Research experience in relevant areas would be desirable (preferably worked in R&D sector with industrial experience in the project-related field).
• Ability to work with limited supervision and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability and willingness to work some flexible hours.
• Good command of English, both oral and written along with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individual and professional groups.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Research Officer to join our Discovery Research laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology, demonstrate high professional conduct, and excellent communication and teamwork abilities. The Research Officer will support and conduct various research activities, contribute to experimental design, and ensure the accuracy and reproducibility of results.

The candidate will primarily be based in ACM’s R&D laboratory and report to the Senior Scientist. Experience with small laboratory animals is not required but would be regarded as a plus. You will be part of a dynamic and multidisciplinary team to support scientific activities and advance ACM’s nanoparticle therapeutics. Responsibilities

• Plan and execute molecular biology experiments, including but not limited in vitro transfection, cell viability and fluorescence/luminescence assays, protein expression and analysis using SDS-PAGE and western blot, ELISA, RNA extraction and qPCR
• Perform cell culture techniques and maintain cell lines
• Develop and optimize protocols for new and existing assays
• Design and draft SOPs
• Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data with precision.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments and results in laboratory notebooks and electronic databases.
• Assist in maintaining lab inventory and general housekeeping
• Stay current with advancements in molecular biology techniques and technologies
