We are looking for an IT Officer to assists the Manager in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Information Technology Department.

• Assists in establishing hardware maintenance programs and procedures in case of system interruptions.
• Assists in ensuring security of data storage and protection.
• Oversees maintenance and handling of equipment used.
• Ensures timely reporting of malfunction or maintenance deficiencies to appropriate area.
• Provides End Users with training and support.
• Prepare updated training materials
• Conducts employee training & schedules periodic review of department duties.
• Perform other duties as may be required by management from time to time.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Computer Science / Diploma in Computer Engineering or related fields
• 1-2 years working experience in a similar capacity in a hotel environment
• Displays initiative
• Customer oriented / created
• Acute attention to details

Job Responsibilities

· Handling full or half sets of accounts (eg; AP/AR)

· Ensure timely recording of creditors invoices and payment transactions and chasing external tenants for billings and Cheque

· Retrieve and resend invoices, credit notes and statement of accounts

· Involved in weekly/monthly reports

· Involved in cashflow calculation and preparation

· Assist in coordinating and liaising with external parties like vendors, external auditors, tax agent and corporate secretarial where required

· Performing daily bank reconciliation

· Assisting with administrative support

Job Requirement

· At least a Diploma in Accounting/Finance or related fields

· At least 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting

· Take initiative and fast learner

· Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Perform daily accounting & finance duties such as AR, AP, GL etc
• Handle GST submission, Petty Cash, Disbursement Accounts etc
• Manage timely closing process and reconciliations.
• Ability to work independently with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain good documentation and filing system.
• Good communication skills for both written and spoken English.
• Proficient in MS-Office and MYOB/ABSS Accounting Software.
• Meticulous, good initiative, friendly and responsible.
• Able to start work with short notice.

Responsibilities:

Compiling documents for Accounts Settlement & payment request, issuing accounting note, preparing SOA, settlement filling.
Check through sales and purchase contracts.
Ensure completeness of deal entry matching against signed contracts for physical trade.
Perform validation of the trades done against trade recaps.
Recognize Incoming payments from clients swiftly and clear pending queues.
Handles front and middle office enquiries on all incoming monies matter.
Liaise with counterparties to verify payments.
Other ad-hoc duties as and when assign by management

Requirements

Diploma in Accounting/ Finance
Min 1 year experience in finance and accounting space of a commodity trading house.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin as need to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterpart.
Detailed, meticulous and able to work well in a fast pace environment.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tasks under tight schedule.
Strong sense of responsibility with strong analytical and organizational skills.
