The main job responsibility is supporting School Operations in overseeing facilities maintenance, logistic support to school activities and escorting of contractors working within the school compound. You will be working as a member of the School Operations Team under the management of School Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

• To assist the Administration Manager (AM) / School Leaders in the day-to-day operation of the school front counter, in general administration and in the school’s service excellence initiatives to achieve positive customer relations and satisfaction level.

The Personnel’s duties and responsibilities include:

• Maintaining general cleanliness of school compound, meeting rooms, offices, staff rooms and classrooms which includes, floor sweeping, mopping, clearing of rubbish, wiping and arranging of tables and chairs.
• Operating and maintaining general cleanliness and serviceability of school equipment i.e. air purifiers, standing fans, Fire Extinguishers etc.
• Support by providing & preparing all logistical arrangement for school events and activities including carrying and arranging furniture & equipment.
• Simple administrative and office work like distributing items to various classrooms.
• Escorting contractors working in school compound i.e. Pest Control, Building works & repair, Aircon maintenance servicing & electrical work.
• Assist in the maintenance of school Facilities i.e. Receive faults/damage report from teachers, co-ordinate with TC for repair, monitoring repair progress and ensure safety measures are in place during maintenance.
• Assist in the day to day operations and functions of the school as directed by School Leaders; Administrations & Operations Managers.

The personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• A dynamic, dedicated and motivated individual that can complete tasks without close supervision.
• Primary school qualifications.
• Advantage to have some experience in logistics and facilities maintenance.
• No chronic medical problems with an acceptable level of fitness and without criminal records.

• Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of Workplace Safety & Health and Environment Management Systems at work sites.
• Conduct regular WSH inspections and follow-up actions to ensure safety compliance.
• Ensure all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
• Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
• Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipments and operations.
• Ensure all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented.
• Coordinate the development of health & safety policies, systems of work and procedures.
• Inspect project sites to ensure safety measure are being carried out at all times.

Job Requirements:-

• Possess relevant safety certificates (Eg Advanced Certificate in WSH, Safety Officer's Course or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Building Construction
• Familiar with ISO45001, ISO 9001 & ISO 14001

Job Description:

• To assist Safety Manager on all safety, health, environmental, and welfare matters, to ensure the Project complies with its statutory obligations, safety requirements, and aerodrome safety standards.
• To be responsible for health, safety, and environmental control, and to assist Safety Manager to ensure that all works adhere to the procedures and instructions.
• To assist Safety Manager in liaising and co-ordinate with stakeholders, authorities and agencies and other Consultants employed by Developer.
• To put up daily situation reports.
• Ensure risk assessment and safe working procedures are correctly executed on-site.
• To conduct daily health, safety, and environmental inspections, prepare reports and follow up with Project Safety Team / Contractors for closure.
• To carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and to record the findings on the relevant forms.
• Wear appropriate personal protective clothing/equipment and observe all safety requirements/procedures.
• To implement and monitor appropriate safety measures in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Safety Management System.
• To highlight areas where training/certification is required to meet the standards imposed by Legislation, Approved Codes of Practice, or H.S.E. guidance

Requirements

• At least 03 years of Project relevant experience in the construction industry preferably 2 years with the developer/main contractor.
• Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM.
• Must be a registered Firesafety manager with SCDF
• Must have confined space assessor certificate
• Must have Work at height assessor certificate
• Has developed a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent

Customer Services

· Acts as window and interface with customer on all issues, and provide top level of customer service to all customers

· Liaise with customers on quotation status, progression of projects, and delivery schedules

· Escalate issues impacting customers on time delivery performances

· Maintain communication record of interaction with the customers in an orderly manner

· Coordinate with the internal departments to find solutions and resolve matters

Sales Admin

· Maintain customers and supplier relationship

· Fully assist Sales Manager for all oversea and local customers

· Follow up to PO documentation once quotation is issued.

· Provide strategic leadership and overall sales and service direction and consistency to enhance productivity, quality and customer service

· Identify, develop and implement progressive and standardized methods of continuous improvement

· Define and maintain standards of performance

· Develop, communicate and implement mid and long-term goals and production plans for areas of responsibilities to ensure continued excellence, including appropriate contingency and risk planning

· Monitor and control expenditures and external/internal labour costs to operate within approved budget guidelines. Identify variances and potential corrective actions.

· Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the company’s Code of Business Conduct

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/Nitec etc
• At least 1 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Preferably with related min Customer Service or Equivalent
• Preferably with Engineering background

Contract Duration:

• Initial Contract Period: 1 March 2025 – 28 February 2027
• Option to Extend: 1-year extension from 1 March 2027 – 29 February 2028, subject to school discretion.

• Coordinate with technical staff and monitor repair progress.
• Ensure safety measures are in place during maintenance work.

1. Operational Support:

• Assist in day-to-day school operations as directed by the School Operations Manager and school leadership team.

• Primary school education or equivalent.

1. Relevant Experience:

• Experience in logistics, facilities maintenance, or a similar role is advantageous.

1. Personal Attributes:

• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.

1. Physical Fitness & Background:

• Good level of fitness with no chronic medical conditions.
