ABOUT SINGAPORE FLOORBALL ASSOCIATION

Singapore Floorball Association is a National Sports Association (NSA) under Sport Singapore, a member of Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC), and the Singapore representative member of the Asia Oceania Floorball Confederation (AOFC) and International Floorball Federation (IFF).

The Singapore Floorball Association (SFA) was formed in 1995. Now SFA is an IPC (Institution of a Public Character) charity organisation with It aims to encourage, develop and manage the sport of Floorball at national and international levels in Singapore. It also strives to promote Floorball to countries within the region. The association is constantly working to increase participation in Floorball and provide more playing opportunities for Singaporeans of all ages.

JOB DESCRIPTION

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process sales and payment invoices
• Payroll computation and processing
• HR administration like leave tracking
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Generate & submission of monthly reports on bank reconciliation, sales revenue, ageing, P&L, Cashflow, etc
• Knowledge of AR / AP / month-end closing
• Involved in stock take activities
• Liaising with suppliers for sourcing, quotations, finalize the price list and issuing of PO
• Support general admin and operation duties
• Adhoc accounts/admin duties as per assigned by General Manager

Requirements:

• Minimum O levels or other relevant professional certification.
• Experience in customer service or frontline work is a strong advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive, friendly disposition and customer service orientated.
• Attentive to details, well organized and team player.

Job Responsibility

• Inspect and identify all possible forms of hazards in a work environment.
• Inspect work areas regularly to ensure compliance with workplace safety and health requirements.
• Check equipment to ensure it is in working condition and do not pose any environment health hazard to user or the workplace.
• Provide solutions to address any unsafe practices or act at workplace.
• Conduct risk assessments on work site.
• Prepare reports on workplace safety assessments.
• Take charge of all matters related to environmental health such as:

1. Disease-bearing insects and rodents

2. Proper disposal of construction waste

3. Noise, air and dust pollution

4. Earth littering

5. Siltation of drains

6. Food hygiene in workers canteens if any

7. Any other environmental health matters

• Report these conditions/ situations with recommendations on remedial measures to be taken to prevent recurrence.

Requirement

• Diploma in any field.
• Registered Environmental Control Officer with NEA.
• At least 2 years of working experience.
• Preferably personnel specialized in Building Construction - Environmental/ Health/ Safety or equivalent.
• Candidate who possess high experience will be considered for senior role.

• Responsible for full set of accounts.
• Ensure financial accounting standards comply with accounting, tax and legislative requirement.
• Daily cashflow monitoring & projection,maintain and update Cashflow report weekly.
• Preparation of management reports with journal, Fixed Assets and balance sheet schedules.
• Prepare and submit GST to IRAS quarterly.
• Assist for monthly bank reconciliation and SOA preparation.
• Assist to ensure payment & cheque are processed in a timely manner.
• Follow-up on customer’s billings and payment status.
• Reconcile with suppliers’ Statement of Accounts
• Answer incoming phone calls from creditors on payment status
• Liase with Auditors and Tax Consultant for Year End Report and attend to the enquiry
• Prepare Interim Payment Certificate and Backcharge.
• Prepare Invoices and Debit/Credit Note.
• Other ad-hoc duties as and when required
• Prepare Payroll and CPF Submission

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage daily sales transaction, collections, handle billing
• Perform Account Receivable & Account Payable & Petty Cash
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales report and journal
• Prepare monthly staffs commission payout
• Handling of Inventory, stock replenishment
• Ad hoc accounts and admin duties assigned

Job Requirement(s):

• Min. O-Level, A-Level, Diploma in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
• Proficiency in basic accounting principles such as bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable.
• Previous experience in accounting or administrative roles, even in entry-level positions, can be advantageous
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) espcially Excel.
• Accuracy and attention to detail are essential for tasks such as data entry, reconciling accounts and reporting
• Possess administrative skills, including the ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively
• Good team player, meticulous, highly numerate and detail oriented
• Self-motivated with good interpersonal, communication skills and willing to learn is most important
• Able to converse in basic English
• Able to start work immediately
