We are looking for a Research Assistant with experience in experimental atomic physics for a project in on quantum interfaces between internal atomic states and photons to prepare entangled atom-photon states. Responsibilities:

Purpose of the post

The Research Assistant will be responsible to, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator and study team members to coordinate research projects under This position is to provide administrative support as a Research Assistant to Prof Zhang Cuilin, Director of the Global Centre for Asian Women’s Health, NUS School of Medicine. The Centre is research-intensive and involves global collaborations to advance women’s health, particularly in administrative support so that projects may run smoothly and meet milestone targets. Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Research Assistant will liaise with relevant stakeholders for participant recruitment and data collection and will be accountable to the Principal Investigator (PI). The Research Assistant will be able to:

1. Support IRB application/administration & maintain Investigator Site File
2. Conduct study recruitment, answer general enquiries on study and checking of study eligibility
3. Conduct informed consent in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Responsible conduct of research (RCR) guidelines and the Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA)
4. Scheduling of study screening and follow up visits

Main duties and responsibilities

The Research Assistant will liaise with the relevant personnel in hospital to smooth the process of recruitment and data collection and will be accountable to the Principle Investigator (PI). The RA will be able to:

1. Oversee the general management of the project;

We are recruiting a full-time Research Assistant to support the Principal Investigator, Associate Professor Natasha Howard, in the implementation and administration of research projects in the areas of health equity, infectious disease control, and global health.

Responsibilities:
The research assistant will focus on research and administration in infectious disease control policy and health system strengthening in the Asia region. This will include:
• Supporting qualitative and quantitative research, including contributing to design, implementation, analysis, and write-up of journal manuscripts and reports/policy outputs.
• Project management and administration for multiple research projects, including ethics review applications to NUS IRB and study country review boards, donor reporting, and liaison with relevant teams in NUS SPH and internationally.
• Assisting the PI in other day-to-day tasks as required.

Requirements:
• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject area.
• Excellent academic writing and communication skills in English.
• Experience of successfully managing multiple tasks concurrently.
