The HRPC is a first-of-its-kind research centre, established at the NUS, to spearhead and conduct research and development to better enable the future challenges arising from rising ambient heat. The Research Assistant who will play a key role in assisting in the development, execution and analysis of research aimed at addressing the challenges of training and operating in rising ambient temperatures. The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary group comprising exercise and thermal physiologists, data scientists, biomedical engineers and researchers. Purpose of the post

We invite applications for a highly motivated Research Assistant to work with the Principal Investigator and study team members to manage and conduct various research projects towards sustainable medicine, ensuring successful and timely completion of projects. Main Duties and Responsibilities

The individual will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Develop new models and methodologies to account for the environmental impacts of health systems. The individual will develop skills in data collection, carbon footprinting, cost-benefit analysis, life cycle analysis, monitoring and reporting, scenario development, forecasting, and policy appraisal.
• Assist in evaluating the environmental impact of healthcare products and clinical pathways using a range of approaches including carbon footprints and broader life cycle assessment.
• Assist in the data retrieval and critical appraisal of secondary data sources that evaluate the environmental impact of healthcare products and clinical pathways
• Engage in a variety of research-related activities including literature searches and reviewing, preparation of research materials, data collection, entry, analysis, and interpretation using in accordance with the highest research standards.

The Regional Assistant Retail Education Manager plays a key role in driving and animating the Makeup category, digital and client experience education strategy in Travel Retail Asia Pacific (TR APAC).
