As a key member of the Barclays BIA APAC Technology team in Singapore, you'll play a pivotal role in contributing SME knowledge ensuring that the bank’s risk and controls are properly managed in line with the firm’s policy and local regulatory requirements. You’ll work closely with our Audit Owners (Vice Presidents or Directors) in teams across the regions for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of audit. You’ll also be keeping abreast with the latest developments in the firm and the external environment to assess their impact to the audit strategy. You should be a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related field, and hold a professional qualification relevant to Audit/Technology & Information Risk Management (e.g. CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP). The role also requires work experience in cyber security, resiliency, cloud computing, infrastructure platforms or artificial intelligence. Background in financial firm and programming skills such as Python with a knowledge of related evolving regulatory environment, and fluency in Mandarin language will be a plus.

Job Scope:

• Provide administrative support to teachers and school management.
• Key administrative duties include:Preparing and verifying documents.
  Maintaining and updating detention records and data.
  Compiling statistics.
  Filing and typing tasks.
  Supervising detention classes and monitoring students on in-house suspension.
  Assisting with other duties assigned by the Head of Department (HOD), Subject Head (SH), or Admin Managers (AM).

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Source and obtain quotations for various products and services that the Group requires eg. Company transport arrangement, repairs of building facilities etc.

2. Summarize and recommend which vendor is most suitable, in written submission to management for their decision.

3. On monthly basis, check that we have received all the usual invoices and check if the amounts are correct before submitting to management for endorsement to proceed for payment.

4. Assist to communicate with Office Cleaners on their job.

5. Be an active part of the Admin team and help the team meet its objectives wherever required.

6. Perform any other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or Management.

Minimum Requirements

a. Minimum 3 years working experience in office administration.

b. Possess strong organization and time-management skills.

c. Possess strong oral and written communication skills.

d. Experience in handling corporate events, vehicle fleet, booking of business trip flight and hotels is a plus.
