KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Dean, including scheduling, correspondence, and meeting coordination.
• Actively participate in daily operations and contribute to the smooth running of the organisation.
• Coordinate and collaborate with various departments across the group to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
• Assist in the preparation and management of documents, including reports, presentations, and communications.
• Handle the reception of visitors and coordinate the logistics of events and activities hosted by the institution.
• Follow up on the implementation and progress of key projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organisational goals.
• Support the Dean in developing and reviewing academic and operational strategies.
• Other Ad-Hoc duties assigned by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Educational Background

• At least Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration, or a related field. Experience studying in Singapore is highly preferred.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent Chinese and English writing and oral communication skills.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in administrative or academic support roles, preferably in the education sector.

Skillset

• Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to manage diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Mac Operating System, Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
• Good knowledge/skills in IT and attention to details.

Working Location:Caldecott / Jurong East
Contract Duration: 9 Months
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8.30am – 6pm, Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm
Basic Salary: $2,980 per month

Responsibilities:

· Support the execution of financial operations such as fixed asset management (including year-end audit), donated funds management etc

Job Requirements:

Investment Reporting is a critical function within the Finance department, supporting Income's multi-asset investment portfolios totaling over $30 billion.

We collaborate closely with various departments across the organization and external service providers to provide operational oversight and support for investment portfolios, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

As a member of our team, you will play a key role in supporting reporting functions essential for managing the assets of insurance funds.

• Conduct month-end financial closing activities, including but not limited to:

1. Reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
2. Posting adjusting journal entries to correct discrepancies
3. Reviewing and analysing financial transactions to identify errors or irregularities
4. Coordinating with other departments to gather necessary information and resolve discrepancies
5. Performing variance analysis between reporting periods

• Prepare management reports, regulatory reports and financial statements pursuant to statutory requirements
• Investigate exceptions and liaise with relevant internal and external parties, such as 3rd party fund administrators, to address issues in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Support investment-linked funds reporting requirements such as fund reports and factsheets.

Requirements:

• University Degree in the Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent
• At least 1 - 2 years of fund accounting experience
• Demonstrated interest in the investment/ finance industry, fund accounting or regulatory reporting.
• Knowledge of various investment asset classes, investment operations or fund accounting would be advantageous.
• Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist management in reviewing internal control processes and implementation for improvements per group policies and procedures adherence.

2. Assist management in establishing new processes and safeguards in driving best practices and system implementation when required.

3. Prepare documents for internal audit per Head Office requirement and support the process such as providing samples (signed contracts, full set of whole cycle operation documents adhering to internal controls).

4. Liaise with other departments/subsidiaries as well as the Head Office to provide financial figures required in various standard and ad hoc reports.

5. Review and assist in managing all accounting aspects, and preparation of month-end financial reports.
