As a Senior / Assistant Manager in our Forensics Services team, you will be involved in engagements relating to fraud investigations, dispute and litigation support, anti-bribery and anti-corruption reviews and other compliance work. You will be a part of a dynamic and fast-growing firm, working closely with our Director for Forensic Services.

Responsibilities

• Assist with proposals tailored to meet clients’ requirements
• Work in project teams to conduct fraud investigations, carry out interviews and analysis of structured and unstructured data amongst other relevant work procedures
• Assist in analysing information and documents using forensic technologies while preserving the chain of custody
• Assist in applying data analytical techniques to identify anomalies in the data set which may be indicative of fraudulent activity
• Support the project team with the preparation of deliverables
• Execute assigned tasks in the fraud risk identification and fraud risk assessment exercises
• Document activities undertaken as part of the fraud prevention exercises
• Support project team leaders to help solve clients’ issues
• Act in accordance with professional standards
• Identify risks of ethical conflicts and threats to independence

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or relevant discipline
• Candidates with more than 3 years of experience will be considered for the Senior role

Roles & Responsibilities

Principal Accountabilities:-

1. Lead and coordinate Special Projects such as:-

a. To enhance the service quality of the Japanese Business;

b. To establish customer benefit services with vendors;

c. To introduce Japanese hospitality and culture to our employees, distribution channel, clients and society.

2. Report in Japanese regularly to our Head Office in Tokyo.

3. Provide customer service in Japanese to Japanese clients on their inquiries, requests, complaints and claims matters.

4. Provide Japanese language support to staff in other departments, where appropriate.

5. Provide administrative support.

6. Plan and organize visitations to clients (new business/renewal/claims happenings).

7. Develop good relationship with clients to maintain and enhance existing clients’ business.

8. Plan renewal strategies for Japanese corporate clients.

9. Prepare underwriting quotations to clients in accordance with the Company’s underwriting guidelines.

10. Prepare referral form, issue Cover Notes and collect of premiums.

11. Maintain clients’ details and information.

Job Requirements:-

1. Minimum Degree Holder qualification;

2. At least 3 years of experience in General Insurance industry;

3. Fluent in written and spoken English and Japanese for handling local and Japanese clients;

4. Good understanding of doing Japanese business;

5. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills;

6. Able to multi-task, and is a team player, conscientious, tactful and willing to learn new skills;

7. Organized and has the ability to work under pressure;

8. Able to work independently and interact with different levels of customers;

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office application.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage shipment documents (e.g., invoice, packing list, bill of lading) to facilitate seamless customs clearance
• To co-ordinate with warehouse team for export/import shipment preparation (i.e. cargo pick up, shipping marks)
• Liaise with freight forwarder on cargo space and shipment arrangement
• Resolving any issue or discrepancies that may arise during the shipping process
• Handle order modifications, cancellations, and requests for returns or exchanges
• Monitor and follow up on shipment status
• Advise and provide freight cost to sales department
• Monitor shipping costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality
