Prof Derek Hausenloy’s laboratory aims to discover new treatments for protecting the heart from acute ischaemia/reperfusion injury and for preventing heart failure. The Department of Japanese Studies at the National University of Singapore invites applications for the post of Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) in the area of cultural studies to start in July 2025 or earlier.

The Department of Japanese Studies is a multidisciplinary department with colleagues specializing in a variety of fields including international relations, anthropology, history, popular culture, literature, performance and geography.
